I was playing alto sax in 7th grade band class the morning of November 22, 1963. I took my mom to Central Mall in Texarkana TX the morning of September 11, 2001. In 1956 I heard Nikita Khrushchev promise that Russia would defeat America not by force but from within.
The person who lies about being there is the Russian weapon and the reason that America is so disturbed and divided.
DJTbag IS a Russian asset. He did not invent the US's pathologies; he exploited them and they will still be here when he is gone. There is still solidarity and patriotism, such as your own, out there. How can we find it and renew it without bloodshed?
Thank you for being someone we can trust. Trust is getting hard to find. I have deep admiration for what you do and pray for your safety, and that we are able to send the snakes back under their rocks to restore our country to some dignity and a place in the world once again.
I remember vividly the day 25 years ago. It was surreal. What we are living now is also surreal in many ways, but unfortunately quite real. It's something we must survive. The vast majority of Americans are good, hardworking people suffering at the hands of genuine scum with no worthy values. The planet, the human race deserve better.
I remember how everyone came together during the horror of 9/11. We all cared about each other and a true feeling of wanting to help. It didn’t matter who you were or color, or race we all came together. I never saw anything like this before and I have never seen anything like it since especially now. Being a native New Yorker there were people I knew that were in the towers. I remember going to memorials and there were never any caskets in churches. Just pictures of loved ones. I remember I couldn’t go down a street to go home for a very long time because there was a beautiful view of the towers.I remember my mom saying she was out gardening and a plane flew by and it was low and thinking how strange that was. But, as I said in the beginning, I’ll never forget how we, the people of NYC, all came together.
Beautifully said and so true. I love my country and want her to end all this derision, lies, hate speech and to Thrive. Thank you for your service, Mr. Kinzinger. Keep fighting for us. I am fighting in my own way with my art (singer, actor, composer, teacher), protesting and League of Women Voters. Bravo to you!
And today we have the most corrupt person to ever lead this country, together with his corrupt brain trust leading the charge to the courts and beyond leading us down the drain.
I’m sure November will hold all sorts of more negative surprises should they take the beating at the polls they have earned.
As someone who was in NYC and was witness, you perfectly capture a horrific day and period. We haven’t drifted from the unity of September 12th, we were intentionally taken down a dark path by a selfish and corrupt man for his own purposes.
You are one of my heroes, Adam. As for Trump, he is continually trying to steal valor from real heros in his AI Slop nonsense - him with military medals to name just a few. It goes to how both desperate and unhinged he really is.

Trump is the only President not at the 9-11 Memorial in NYC today, because he wasn’t allowed to speak and make the occasion about himself….
