One thing we can be sure of: nobody in Trump’s orbit will tell him the truth. The Emperor Has No Clothes.

Judge Kathleen Williams in Florida filed an order to Blanche and the DOJ to answer to allegations that the "emperor" indeed has no clothes. They are required to answer to her on June 12. She's very upset that Blanche and company used her court to defraud the Treasury and the IRS to benefit the Trump Family. The excrement is about to hit the fan. The New York Times is reporting on this but the story is nowhere else in the Press right now.

From her order to the Plaintiffs (The Trump Family) in their $10 Billion bogus lawsuit (the non-party movants are the 35 judges who filed an amicus motion (linked below).

"Here, the non-party movants advance grievous allegations that Plaintiffs

voluntarily dismissed this litigation solely to avoid judicial scrutiny of a lawsuit that “was

collusive from the start” and was only filed to provide the imprimatur of legality for an

unlawful settlement. (DE 63 at 16). They point to the fact that the settlement in question

includes a “three-paragraph addendum2 . . . [that] purports to ‘forever bar[] and preclude[]’the United States from pursuing claims that could have been [otherwise] asserted[against] Plaintiffs,” (Id. at 8), and highlight the fact that Defendants did not “even try[] to defend against Plaintiffs’ claims” despite their active opposition to nearly identical claims in other litigation.3 (Id. at 16). Finally, the non-party movants assert that Plaintiffs’ claims were “clearly untimely” and therefore untenable. (Id.)"

Here's the motion from the 35 judges:

https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.flsd.706172/gov.uscourts.flsd.706172.63.0.pdf

"The Court was deceived. Despite Plaintiffs not having mentioned any settlement in their

Notice, the Department of Justice (“DOJ”) publicly announced a “settlement” of this action shortly after Plaintiffs filed their dismissal. That “settlement” commandeers the contrived sum of $1.776 billion from the United States Treasury, to be handed out to recipients chosen by a commission effectively controlled by the President."

Will Blanche and Trump get away with defrauding the court and the Treasury and the IRS?

Will the Press and Congress look past the slush fund distraction and examine the actual high crimes committed here?

Will Trump strong arm the Senate into confirming Blanche for Attorney General? The top law enforcement officer in the nation? After Blanche and Trump's lawyers cooked up this Magic Settlement scheme? Which Senators are going to tell their constituents they approved of the Trump Family taking their money?

Stay tuned!

It's been on MSNOW.

DeBurgh's avatar

They are talking about the slush fund. Not the defrauding of the Treasury and the IRS. The slush fund is the distraction. The frivolous lawsuit and the Magic Settlement is the criminal fraud con game. Let us know when MS NOW stops getting fooled about the rioter fund and starts talking about the actual crime behind it.

They really don't need to tell him the truth. Those vested with the power to do so need to remove him from office. It's not like Mamdani is first in line of succession.

DeBurgh's avatar

See Paradise Lost. Satan's subordinates did not cast him out of heaven. Goodness shut down evil. This era is not about Right and Left. It is about Right and Wrong. The opposition party has been fooled into silence by the Wrong. When will the woke wake up and start telling the truth?

Dianne's avatar

And god forbid if Biden had acted the same way the media would be screaming about it nonstop. Why aren’t his clear actions of a man descending into dementia being reported?

Lillian Murty's avatar

Who’s going to tell him? His cabinet of sycophants?????? His Republican boot lickers in the House and the Senate?

Dream on!

SPW's avatar

They are scared shitless to tell the truth about trump. They still have a job even though it twinges some consciences when the truth is fudged or bent. Most of their bosses have sold their souls to him or his movement so there will be no back up from corporate for whatever is broadcast or written.

This is what we get when no one on this earth has the guts to hold this man and his administration accountable. We get an alternate reality, that closely mirrors the Twlight Zone. An unprecedented nightmare that has destabilized the entire planet.

Mia's avatar

It completely mirrors the Twilight Zone!!!

The many people ‘telling the truth’ about Trump don’t *currently have equal power with those who have succumbed to him.

I found the interview with Kristen Welker even more unnerving. The problems weren't caused by the rain but by the fact that Trump has no self-control, is arrogant and rude, and swiftly is unraveling before our eyes. He has totally reversed truth and fiction—and almost everything he says is projection. He's basically stark raving mad and leading us over a cliff—the only case in which I hope he stays in the lead. Congress and his cabinet have the wherewithal but not the simple courage to stop him.

John David's avatar

I don't know if you caught Megan Kelley's response to that interview. She said she was uncomfortable with how Welker handled the interview. She said that when Trump attacked Kristen Welker, Welker then made it all about her. No Megan, it was about Trump being asked to support his claims and when he couldn't, it was Trump, who tried to make it about Welker.

Skepticat's avatar

I didn't see it, but was Megan Kelley watching the same interview we were? Welker did respond that she wasn't crooked, an appropriate reply

John David's avatar

Well, it's Megan Kelley (although she is holding Trump's feet to the fire over his involvement with Epstein and the Iran war). Still, her newscasts are more performative than informative.

it's just yet another example of The Right making the victim the victimizer and the victimizer, the victim. They've done it with the Jan. 6th rioters, Renee Good

Renee Good, Alex Pretti and Michael Flynn and many others. It's been, far too often, a successful strategy used by Trump.

Kay G's avatar

Megan Kelley is going to criticize a rival female reporter because that is who Megan Kelley is. Even if Megan Kelley is willing to criticize Trump - the rival female reporter will always be at fault somehow.

It's Come To This's avatar

Enough material there for multiple psychiatric conferences. Many people are saying. Many, many people....

John David's avatar

Yes, Kelly said that Trump was right to walk out and called Welker rude. For Kelly to say that directly supports your comment. This is amazing, does she not think Trump's insults were not rude?

Ronald Genovese's avatar

could frontal lobe atrophy play a role?

Skepticat's avatar

That's probably only a small part of it.

Jay Jay Eh's avatar

It ‘helps’ by reducing his self-control … more truth & inanities ‘slip out’.

Everyone has to build up defenses against the real world. We care about others and don't want them to be hurt. Much of reality is bad or hard to take. Getting old for instance.

But to live in complete disregard of reality is insanity. Trump may not be here much longer. Not enough rest is too hard on a 80 year old body. I am 5 years behind him and I won't stay up all night for anything anymore. I agree that having a Commander in Chief that is insane is a terrifying thought. That seems to be the Epstein Class mo, to mentally torment everyone in addition to ruining them in every other way.

He refuses to accept reality much of the time. He was warned by his military and civilian advisors not to start up a war with Iran, but he chose to believe Bibi rather than his team. It’s a sickness, now apparently exacerbated by dementia.

Marilyn's avatar

How do you know he listened to bibi? To mean, the only person who no controls him is Putin!

Jay Jay Eh's avatar

Netanyahoo & Israel have flags & monuments PRAISING Trump as if he were God himself … it feeds his ego. Plus Netanyahoo wanted to keep the war going, and Trump is a dumb sucker, hoping it wd go as easily as the Venezuelan takeover.

The look on his granddaughter's face.... She wasn't sure what to do. I hope she remembers this moment in her life. Probably will. Sad.

Jewel1954's avatar

She is a grifter like the rest, already peddling crap with Trump name. She has great awareness of her name and where she is.

BigDaddy52's avatar

Don't feel too sorry for her.

She won two club championships at grandpa's golf course in '22 and '24, with a +.5 handicap (VERY GOOD). In '25, she was invited to play in the Junior Invitational ('Masters' for young amateurs), finished 24th out of 24 players. Also invited to play The Annika, to debut on the LPGA Tour. Finished last in the field of 108 players, to miss the cut.

So, as well as being a grifting influencer, she apparently plays golf like grandpa. Quite well, when no one is watching the scoring.

Sally Joy Rubin's avatar

Honestly, looking at her, I thought she was a child.

BigDaddy52's avatar

She is. And already corrupted. Can only hope something happens to rescue her.

Truth matters. Character matters. Thank you for speaking truth. We all saw & heard it with our own eyes & ears.

We need more people willing to call it out and not continue to accept the constant lies and distortion of truth.

Mark Rodin's avatar

Bravo! He has delusions of grandeur and it's time the public knows. I hope there are lots of commercials showing this reception at Madison Square Garden this fall.

Ellen Brown's avatar

He is unfit. The MMA fight to commemorate our 250th birthday. The phones, shoes, watches, and now a coin. It’s a quicksand of grift. It’s despicable, dismissive of the majority of Americans who are hardworking people fighting to make ends meet. Those following the naked Emperor, will be let down when he is no more and find that what he’s left in his stead is absolutely nothing for them. What this country needs is a giant vat of the Vick’s Vapo Rub the press corps allegedly puts under their noses to combat the poopy diaper cologne that covers his gross body.

He lives from moment to moment in a pseudo reality of his own making. He is demented, delusional, and unable to see it. He is manifestly unqualified and is the poster child for the Dunning-Kruger effect.

Jeanne C's avatar

I'd never heard of the Dunning-Kruger effect. But WOW! You have hit the nail on the head, Stephen! That exactly fits with what the crook-in-chief is exhibiting!

What I still don't understand is, why all the Cabinet appointees and republican legislators don't seem to care that they will be going down with him!! Do they really expect to survive his terrible reign?

Stephen Brady's avatar

They are in a cult. It is a big power/ego trip. They are all profiting off their positions - insider trading and any bribes they can suck in. And, he has shown them the consequences of not doing what he wants. But like all dictatorships, it is politically and economically unstable. It is a positive feedback loop - a self-reinforcing system which eventually flies apart.

Paul Corcoran's avatar

All so true. Thank you.

Thanks Adam for sharing what is really happening with trump. I just hope the Democrats are saving these perfect marketing images to project why not to vote for republicans. 🎞️trump stating "he is not concerned at all about the economy as long as Iran doesn't have a nuclear weapon."; while driving to Madison Gardens, him waving like an idiot thinking the crowd is cheering and there for him, when they're actually booing him; and believing they were cheering during the national anthem when showing his face. It is becoming so obvious that the republican lawmakers are enabling this man and they're the ones who carry the blame from here on out!

Adam, you must feel so vindicated for doing the right thing in the first place!

God bless you for that and giving us all hope!🙏🏻
