I wrote earlier in response to another post that I wondered about the Second Lady and her family, what they think about JDV, shapeshifter, name changer, hater of those who are against immorality (and more). The family are, somewhere along the line, immigrants who have benefited from living in a country of laws. Maybe knowing their child and grandchildren, four now, are wealthy clouds all other worries.
He's not worried about that, Sheila. If he's not elected president, he knows Trump will pardon him. Trump will pardon every corrupt person in his orbit. Justice will not prevail because current laws will not allow it--not to mention the Senate and the Supreme Court.

Much needed commentary Adam, thank you. You used a couple of phrases that Amy Acton uses in her speeches that really resonate with me and I hope with voters. First , she credits neighbors who saw what was going on and took it upon themselves to feed her and her brothers. She says they didn’t look away, and she will not look away from the problems facing Ohioans. Second, she wants to show that kindness is not weakness. These may seem like minor points but actually, they are very important in ensuring the kind of society we want and what is really missing from the current regime.
Vivek Ramaswamy is despicable. His BS ad about Dr. Amy Acton, using her estranged mother as ammunition is beyond the pale. Her mother is in severe denial over her decision to defend the man that raped and abused her daughter and son. He was arrested by the police and indicted by a grand jury for abusing Dr. Acton and her brother as children, and raping Dr. Acton before she was twelve. Both Dr. Acton and her brother were removed from their mother because their mother was judged to be incompetent to care for them. Dr. Acton's mother claims that it was all lies. Really? If so, why did they abscond and go on the lam as fugitives from justice from 1978 until her scumbag husband died in 2004. All of this is a matter of record. Dr. Acton's mother should have been put in prison herself for aiding and abetting child abuse and rape. Are there really people who will fall for Ramaswamy's sick ad?
JD Vance is equally despicable for not disavowing it. How very Christian of you JD. You seem to have forgotten the 9th Commandment, "Thou shalt not bear false witness".

Who is this we’re you are speaking for? There is a substantial portion of our country that agrees with him and is ecstatic he is willing to take the gloves off and speak his mind and the “truth”. They support this degradation of public discourse and make no excuses for it. Those speaking about shame, integrity and moral compasses of these people are playing in a political field that doesn’t exist anymore. These people like Vance are fighting a war because they truly believe their way of life is disappearing.
