Although I am a retired social studies teacher who taught Civics to middle school students, I am stilled inclined to teach. I preordered the books with donating them simply to share Adam’s creative talent and positive message.
My dear Adam: I ordered and received your wonderful book! Read it page to page! Thank you so much. Since I am an American living in Canada (married an awesome Canadian years ago), and since the book refers (and rightly so) to heroes in USA, I will pass it on to a relative in Michigan (close by) and ask that he put it into a school library near their home. Again, thank you for all you do. You're the best!!!!!! GO BLUE!
I received book several days ago. Have shared it with Ukrainian 3rd grader refugee and identified who his hero is. He has written appropriate birthday card to/for his father's upcoming birthday.
Wow, can't wait to read this! I am an educator and feel this is something every child and adult need right now. That being said, you are a real hero! 👍
Great idea, Adam, and I wish you success. Unfortunately, as I am aid off and my unemployment has ended, money is really tight. Maybe sometime in the future I can get it. I would donate it because I don't have children or grandchildren.
I got a package in the mail yesterday and couldn’t remember ordering anything! It turned out to be your book and I was elated! It was a beautiful and moving read. The page that really touched my heart was the one depicting Arlington Cemetery. I had just visited there, two weeks ago, on my first ever Honor Flight with fellow veterans. I’m sure your friend and hero, Captain O’Keefe is looking down on you with pride and admiration for bringing this subject to life!
I will have to read it to my grandkids in TX via FaceTime, because I am in PA! I know they will love it, since their parents, grandparents and aunts are all military veterans! Thank you Adam for writing a beautiful book for all ages to enjoy! 🇺🇸🫡
I wish you much success on your new book. You are correct, kids today do not know the real life heroes stories for them to admire. It is sad because there are many everyday heroes out there who stories need to be told. I believe anyone who makes the ultimate sacrifice is a hero in his own way. That person was willing to stand shoulder to shoulder and protect their brother in arms, to me that makes them a hero.
It’s on back order—I guess that is good news—on Bookshop.org—-I refuse to support that despicable excuse for a human being and his equally atrocious New Trophy Wife—guess there wasn’t a great return policy when he bought her and her Botox.
My three books will arrive tomorrow; all will be donated to public or school libraries.
Thank you Adam. Can’t wait to read before donating.
Excellent thank you!
What a wonderful idea!

You honor your friend, Captain Andreas, by keeping his memory bright. Hope the book takes off...
He deserves it
I’m purchasing a whole bunch 💕👍🏻👏🏻
To love one another is to put those others first.
To love is wish the best for the loved ones. That’s putting them first.
There’s been many great preachers in history but I don’t think anything beats your message, right now.

Excellent thanks!!!
Audie Murphy was a hero that was used and chewed up by the Industry.
George Bush flew. George McGovern flew. Jimmie Stewart flew. WWII back then, didn’t matter what your views were. Heroes flew.
👏🏼👏🏼

My pre-ordered copy is on its way, and I'll buy a few more copies when you come to Austin for a book-signing. :-)
