After more than 24 hours of travel, I have made it to Ukraine to support the work of the people on the ground and document what life is like since the Russian invasion.
Please express to the Ukrainian people that there are millions of us here in the U.S. trying to make political change here so we fully support them again. We know that “thoughts and prayers” won’t make this happen. Safe travels Adam.

I myself have donated to United Aid Operations for years now. But would recommend people donate directly to United24 that is the government site that gets and uses the money directly to help the people of Ukraine.
Can someone explain how I had 84 likes before and many more likes came in as I was going through my email, and now somehow I have only 10 likes? This does not seem normal. Are there Russian hackers deleting likes in support of Ukraine?
Russia clearly cannot destroy the determination and resiliance of the Ukranian people! They are an impressive country and culture. I'm happy you continue to shine a light on their ongoing plight, Adam. I believe I read that Zelenskyy and his wife have arrived in Canada to meet with officials about the war and aide for their war effort. It was not lost on me that they would have typically been here to do the same, but our authoritarian, Putin-loving Traitor-in-Chief prevents that from happening. Be safe, Adam. But as soon as I saw you were in Ukraine I immediately subscribed! I love your posts and look forward to each one. I am Canadian with an American/Canadian husband who votes in the US elections. I have admired you since the January 6th Committee hearings. Ukraine is very close to my heart and I really appreciate you going there.

Hey Mama! I understand how you feel. I'm a Michigander. We border states with Canada feel Trump's cruel and ridiculous "feud" with Canada more deeply, I think. When I was very young, my family spent the day at the beach every Sunday on Lake Erie at Point Pelee in Ontario. I didn't even realize I was in another country! Lots of fond Canadian memories throughout my life, actually. 😊🇨🇦🇺🇲

SLAVA UKRAINI! thanks adam, for taking this risk. it's insane that america's so-called leaders have no idea how serious this war is for the future of the entire world. the u.s. should be giving ukraine everything they need and then some. the u.s. should also be studying the lessons ukraine is giving in how to improvise and effect modern warfare. instead, the prez is going backwards to the extent of even wanting aircraft carriers to use methods that were abandoned in favor of more effective ones. will the prez ever abandon his beloved putin? doubtful. he doesn't even seem to know that russia is helping iran against the u.s. please be as careful as humanly possible!
