Amen! He and Cassidy and Susan Collins and all those who know better should be ashamed of themselves for voting in the worst , least qualified cabinet ever. And, having voted them in, all bad decisions, double dealing, cruel policies, and revenge prosecutions that resulted.
I saw Uncle Thom's pathetic interview with the sharp-witted Peter Alexander on MS NOW yesterday. "What about....BIDEN?" he repeated on cue. "How 'bout B-I-I-I-I-DEN. Biden, BIden, Biden!" Whaddabout, waddabout, waddabout...
You didn't fool me for a second, you gassed-up, self-promoting, pathetic windbag. The book should be renamed "Profiles in Weenydom."
Anyone living in North Carolina knows that Tillis long ago bent the knee to Trump/MAGA. His brief but fleeting return to a political magnetic north is unimpressive. I couldn’t be less interested in his ghost written book. For me, it’s right up there with The Art of the Deal and Trump University.
Thom “Till-It-Serves-Me” Tillis. He is a scam - just like the rest of the GOP. Sorry, Thom - Too much, too little, too late. You had multiple chances to make life better for Americans. You turned your back on us as did your party. They have lost their way and their souls. Good luck to all of them.
I don’t care if it was sarcastic I don’t wish any of those clouts good luck they deserve everything bad that ever comes to them . They could have stopped so much of the destruction of our country by not letting all that slop even happen in the first place. They are all chicken s#!tt.
I don’t think that anyone who pays attention to Washington politics thinks Tillis deserves to be referred to as a Profile in Courage. He was primaried for standing up to Trump exactly once (the Epstein files), and that was likely only because his constituents insisted on it OR, because his political ambition told him it would advance his career. Never did the guy do his job because it was the right thing to do. He, Cassidy, and every other republican senator who voted to confirm this cabinet deserves to lose their jobs. Had they acted together, and stood up to Trump, they would all be safe. But when you do the cowardly thing, you Die a Thousand Deaths. That should be the title of Tillis’ book.
My hope is that over the next 6 years, they all lose their jobs, and that they are replaced with people who will actually do the job of representing the people who put them in office, rather than serving their own ambition.
Exactly right. Tillis is a spineless but perceptive fella who sees the writing on the wall for Trumpism and wants to be in a vanguard of “new” conservatives. Sadly for him, his ethical flabbiness and poor decision making will keep him on the sidelines. (If my local library acquires this book I may read it…not one cent of mine goes to Thom Tillis).
What a joke. Who wants to read anything about some senator wannabe hero who did nothing but agonize over doing the right thing? And then didn’t. Just like Elaine Chao (McConnell’s wife) resigning her cabinet position weeks before her term would expire. What a show of lack of nerve.
From what you are describing, it appears that Tom Tillis, like Susan Collins, is a Mugwump.
For those unfamiliar with the term, a “Mugwump” is a bird that perches on a fence with its head in one side and tail on the other. It sings on the head side and poops on the tail side. And it periodically changes sides: sings on the side it pooped on and poops on the side it sang to before.
Pathetic. How to almost avoid self-castration, but chicken out. It's horrifying and embarrassing to be living through this age of tyranny, idiocy, and cowardice.
THE WORLD AWAITS TOMORROW’S ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE
Trump Reportedly Upset Over Not Receiving Today’s Nobel Prize for Literature
Today, the Swedish Academy announced that it has awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature to Anne Carson, a Canadian poet, essayist, classical scholar and translator. She is especially admired for combining ancient Greek literature with experimental modern poetry and prose.
We understand that Trump did not take likely to the fact that this prize was awarded to a Canadian, rather than Trump, insisting that his ghost-written “The Art of the Deal” is alone worthy of being included in the pantheon of great world literature besides the works of Homer, Dante, Shakespeare and the authors of the Superman comic strips, not to mention the eloquence of Trump’s speeches which pour forth like overflowing sewage.
Tomorrow, though, is the big day in which Trump expects the Swedish Academy to redeem itself for having awarded last year’s Nobel Peace Prize to María Corina Machado, the Venezuelan opposition leader who received the prize for her efforts to promote democracy and a peaceful transition from dictatorship in Venezuela. Trump, however, was eventually successful in extorting the prize from Machado, who is still feeling pain in her twisted arm.
Trump undoubtedly believes that he deserves tomorrow’s Nobel Peace Prize for having manifested extraordinary restraint both in not bombing Iran back into the stone age and in limiting his flying kill teams to only blowing up 238 people in 71 strikes on their boats (as of October 6, 2026), who were suspected of being drug smugglers, whom Trump re-defined as “narco-terrorists”.
Let us congratulate our President in advance for the recognition that he expects to receive tomorrow. Should he not receive the Nobel Peace Prize on the first announcement, following his practice of using our taxpayers’ money to pay bribes, we can expect Trump to announce that he has arranged for the United States to contribute $500 million dollars to the Swedish Academy upon reconsideration of their award.
I thought he was expecting the literature prize for his tweets.
Anyway, I wrote the Nobel Prize team and let them know how he’s destroyed our society. I also mentioned that if they were to award him any prize ever, we would assume that someone on their committee had been bribed and that would destroy their pristine reputation in the eyes of the world.
Amen! He and Cassidy and Susan Collins and all those who know better should be ashamed of themselves for voting in the worst , least qualified cabinet ever. And, having voted them in, all bad decisions, double dealing, cruel policies, and revenge prosecutions that resulted.
I blame him personally, and others just like him, for where we are today. I hope his book tour crashes and burns.
Yes, Trump could not have done what he has done, without his enablers.
Exactly
Just had a good idea inspired by your comment….buy the book and BURN it. But then again, why give him a cent for a useless book.
Tillis=All hat no cattle.

Strike the "Goodluck," and you got me! (Of course, it probably was sarcastic.)

100%. I’m from NC and so embarrassed for him. His words mean nothing now after his actions spoke so loud in the past. So so sad and unnecessary.
What a useless senator and human being. Sad thing is , he might actually believe his own delusions.
He does believe it!
Exactly right. Tillis is a spineless but perceptive fella who sees the writing on the wall for Trumpism and wants to be in a vanguard of “new” conservatives. Yep Adam. I knew it was about Tillis even before reading your post.

Too little, too late. They own all their decisions. “Gosh, guess I made a mistake" just doesn't get it when the screw up is this big.
