Many thanks to you, Adam, among many others - Joyce Vance, Heather Cox Richardson, Prof Timothy Snyder, and so many others - for fighting every day to save our democracy!
Adam. Long-time Dem voter here. I gotta tell you that your persistence, insight, and demonstration of what real patriotism looks like has been heartening. Thanks, and keep your communications coming! The mess we have inherited is gonna take creativity and time to clean up.
Last night., i felt like a big rock had started to be lifted off of my chest and I could finally start breathing again. Your article waa inspiring while also reminding us what lies ahead. There's so much to celebrate and be grateful for, including your independent reporting, in written, your videos ,and your ,live streams. It has besn so needed and continues to be.
Thankyou Adam for keeping us on track during these trying times. We've all had a part in this victory. From door knocking to postcard writing to heartfelt, honest conversations with our neighbors and friends WE DID IT!!! So incredibly proud today.
Your voice, this time around, was as important as it was in 2024, and I'm absolutely certain that it made a real difference in defeating neo-fascism and restoring decency and democracy.
Thanks also for your journalism. It's one of the main reasons why I read you each day (and I'm a progressive).
As you say, much work remains to be done. I'm looking forward to doing whatever I can and to reading you for the next few years!
Blue wave here in North Carolina as well! This from The Charlotte Ledger: In a night when Democrats won the U.S. House and U.S. Senate, with big wins all around the country, they also won control of the N.C. House for the first time since 2010 and appeared to come within one vote of taking the N.C. Senate.
Thank you for being an important voice and inspiring other Republicans to find their moral compass despite the threats, and intimidation. And this is from a lefty Democratic socialist.
Thanks Adam for all your hard and tireless work! Now it’s the fight of our lives for the President and get rid of all the Repugnant Repugnicans and his maggots! I’m so happy for America!
For me the question is what that work looks like. Will Democrats be able to harness the superpower of compromise, or will every faction pull in different directions, negate their advantage, and get nowhere? This morning I’m more hopeful than I’ve been in years, but…I’m a little bit anxious too.
Thank you, Adam, for your tireless work! 👏👏👏

Exactly! Bravo to Independent Media!
👏🏼💙‼️
I appreciate your shout out to Joyce Vance, HCR, Timothy Synder and all the others. "The voice of reason is small, but very persistent" Freud.
Today the voice of reason is LARGE!

Adam needs to jump back in!!
Savor that cup of coffee this morning, roll up our sleeves, take a deep breath and let’s go!

“Let’s be honest, legacy media has failed spectacularly at holding Donald Trump accountable the last 18 months.”
So true.

Yes! May we continue to “take the high road” and be a constant reminder of what matters MOST—may Truth and Kindness and Unity PREVAIL!
Your feelings seem right on for this moment, Pat. Today I just want to bask in the glow. 😊💃
