Adam, I read your column daily, but now after 2 Sundays, I am acutely aware how much we need to hear what’s actually working in our country. Thank you thank you thank you! Happy Mother’s Day to your beautiful wife, and, if she’s still with you, your own mother. She clearly did a great job with you.
That was Kamala Harris!!! Anyone remember how under her push, we went from five states to over 30 in what seemed ‘just like that’ regarding maternity coverage?!? Unreal what this country missed out on!
This is good news. Had my babies between 1975 to 1983 when insurance was cheaper and covered most expenses although the cost to us tripled from first to last baby. And yes at least a year is needed to fully recover. My recovery was fast but I was young ( age 21 to 30 and in good health ) but many of my friends needed more care. Sad that health care has gotten generally worse in the past 50 years.
Happy Mother’s Day to your beautiful wife and I hope you and Christian are showering her with gifts and love, which I have no doubt the both of you are doing!
happy mother's day to your wife, and to all the moms ... moms of babies, kids, and adults. also happy mother's day to all the pet moms out there! my cats didn't make me coffee.
thanks adam, also, for the wonderful news that new moms are receiving longer care! that's so wonderful. but what's wrong with arkansas?
Straight to the heart Adam. Happy Mother’s Day to your bride!
My brother sister and I learned civics and civic engagement from our mom and dad. On Mother’s Day my dad would quote
“God could not be everywhere, and, therefore, he made mothers." – Rudyard Kipling
Happy mother’s Day to our biological non biological who mentor and serve so many.
Finally, we are ever so slowly catching up to the rest of the developed world.
Thank you Adam for these Sunday gems that give us some hope.
That is excellent policy! Yes, too bad it's not more widely known about.
But I worry if King Con finds out about the “waste” of billions that could be used for his vanity projects and/or wars.
That’s great! I didn’t know about that - thanks for the good news!! Happy Mother’s Day to your family!

This is so great, why don’t we hear about these good things? Thank you for sharing and educating me. 🤩
Love the Good News Sundays, thank you!

I hope you will also post about how much money Flint Michigan saved by paying women while they are pregnant. Republicans should be all over that!

Cashed out my retirement to stay home for 9 months after birth.
40+ years later I sit sipping coffee and writing postcards to GA voters

"What's wrong with Arkansas?"
Good question...
Maybe Arkansas is trying to maintain a lower class. If you give people a healthy start, they might rise on the ladder.
i hate to think that's true, however, i believe it is.
Wow! Even FloriDuh? Surprises me
