If Kennedy were a doctor, he would legally classify as a quack. If he had some medical exposure, he would legally classify as a moron. Given that he is neither, he would legally and medically classify as a psychopath. And as his constituency, we can be legally classified as fools.

Besides the drug abuse he had a screw worm in his brain that looks to me like it is still active. He’s just another privileged parasite that has to go because he’s put our health at risk. Can anyone name me one sane cabinet member in this administration? The closest I can come is Bessent, the Treasury Secretary, but I have to count him out because he supports Trump’s tariffs as a method to reduce the huge costs of the BBB. Problem we are pissing off the whole world, and it will take, by my calculations, at least a decade, but more like a generation, to undo the damage and regain trust the day after all these Fokkers are gone, so let’s ramp it up and get it done! We are beyond La La land folks!

Christopher Sweet's avatar

Which is the parasite? The Kennedy Worm or the Worm, Kennedy? Is a parasite and its host two entities, or one?

Talk about intimacy!

sean malee's avatar

Neuro cysticercosis aka pork tapeworm. Generally contracted by eating undercooked pork infected with the parasite. It can get into the brain but classically the cysts are in muscle tissue.

Adam: I have read all of your stuff since you joined Substack, but this just might be your most important piece yet. I hope it is republished in every legitimate publication in America, if not the world. You have cut through the noise and given us a clear picture of who and what he is.

Next—can you do Peter Thiel? He is rich, influential, and seems to be controlling America from behind a curtain or wealth. He is shaping our politics yet we know virtually nothing about him. Can you enlighten us?

JBM's avatar

I feel the same. Trump is the dopey puppet and the Heritage foundation and Thiel are the ones that need more attention. The puppet masters!

Also Russell Vought and Stephen Miller.

Peter Theil makes Elon look like a boy scout- which is saying a lot. However, they are both entirely much too influential billionaires that need to get out of politics(no thanks to SCOTUS). The key isn't getting rid of Trump, it's how to get rid of the billionaire influence. And I fear no one has the answer to that question.

Agree re: the most frightening “man” in the tech bro saga - Peter Thiel. He has recently sold out four lectures in San Francisco. He will be discussing the Antichrist. I kid you not. And not the kind of Antichrist you’re thinking of. He called Greta Thunberg the Antichrist. He is a simp for the insane beyond right wing Internet darling for psychopaths, Curtis Yarvin. They both groomed and bought Vance. Thiel also bought him the Senate seat and placed him as VP. Who spends only two years as a freshman senator and then becomes VP? And…Peter Thiel wants us dead. No joke. Please write about how seriously dangerous he is. If Thiel gets ahold of this country, he and his insane technocrats will eat it alive. They want to get rid of most of the population. It’s called The Dark Elightenment. How will they get rid of most of us? Read up on Curtis Yarvin and read about his human to biofuel theory.

Susan Falzo's avatar

Ew. I hope I misunderstand what you are saying “human to biofuel”.

WHY do we pay more attention to the billionaires? ? Do we think they are smarter because they are rich? ?

Denise de la Vaux's avatar

When I read Yarvin talking about biofuel, I think I had an out of body experience. I thought who is this fringe nut that has somehow “inspired” so many people - especially billionaires. It does seem like a good deal of these younger tech billionaires- Zuckerberg, Bezos, Thiel, Andreesen, Musk…they seem to have decided democracy is a waste, they want to rule “Freedom Cities” where they own everything, including people. I don’t know - maybe they have too much time on their hands. But I’m sure you all saw them standing at the Inauguration, trying to stay in Trump’s good graces. They are amoral and they are the ones we really need to worry about. I don’t have a clue how to stop these nut jobs.

Susan Falzo's avatar

What can we do Denise? These people are beyond anything I could dream up. There’s really no thought about anything beyond their wishes & comfort. I won’t be around much longer but I truly worry about today’s children and their future without the American Dream. We should have listened to Stephen Hawking’s warnings.

Denise de la Vaux's avatar

I wish I knew. Lately, after almost nine months of the destruction of almost every facet of government and Trump’s retribution against us all (Latinos and others are getting the worst of it now but wait until the Medicaid cuts kick in, and other lovely things in that Death bill) I am feeling quite discouraged. And I know that’s what they want. They want us to just accept this and roll over. I’m 58 and at this point I figure I may never see a better America again, so I understand. I don’t even know how the damage would be reversed as it’s so vast. I don’t have kids but I do worry about them - I feel so awful that young people are going through this. There were so many people who saw the truth of the evil brewing in the country and yes, we didn’t listen. George Carlin, Carl Sagan, Noam Chomsky…no one was listening because capitalism and consumerism was our religion. Sending you a hug. 🫂 I sure need one! 🥰

Susan Falzo's avatar

You are young enough to see things improve. Small actions can weave together & move mountains. I was in Ohio when Kent State happened and before that, the 60’s. The thing I think about is the generation before me is mostly gone. Once my generation is gone there won’t be anyone with first hand knowledge of the evil of Hitler & his ilk.

Please take care, have like-minded friends & continue to speak up!

Boy oh boy, I was not expecting such a passionate (and terrifying) response to my post. This stuff is right out of Marvel or DC movie, complete with all the supervillain stuff—megalomaniacs trying to rule the world—not wanting to blow it up, just forcing it to bend to their will. That is, at least until they build their Elysium on Mars—-then they can blow it up.

I listened to Tim Miller and a former republican political campaign strategist discuss what the dems could/should do if/when they regain power—and the answer would have sounded extreme just a few months ago but now…

—nationalize Space X and all the AI startups

—legislate (as in overturn through Congress) Citizens United.

—defund and dismantle ICE

—Fire the head of the FBI and the DOJ

And that’s just day one. Judge Luttig thinks that by 2028 it will be too late to save our democracy. But if we focus our energy NOW on exposing the billionaires behind the puppets, maybe we can really make a difference starting in 2026. If these guys are forced to go on defense and focus their energies on preserving their vast wealth (it was, after all, very effective in getting Elon to back off), we may be able to stem the tide.

How about Laura Loomer?

Doris's avatar

I think Laura Loomer is nuts and has an outsized influence on DJT, but I don’t see her as a real threat to democracy. She just isn’t someone with the resources or reach to effect big change. She is good as a tool to help there’s tap into the hate and fear, but I don’t’ think she has ever had an original idea. She’s also a woman and a Jew, which gives her zero sway with the bros.

Yes “menace” is a good description. I do sometimes ask myself what drives all of the people in Trump‘s orbit. They seem to have different explanations at the granular or psychological level, but all of the explanations share a few things in common—all of which are frightening and appalling. One thing is for sure: if we can’t wrest control away from these sociopaths and nincompoops, we are going to be the three American generations who are in control during the failure of the United States. That will be to our everlasting shame (should there be an afterlife).

The Trump regime and RFK are the reasons I got my vaccines boosters and titers checked before that moron even got into office. I’ve already got my flu and Covid vaccine for this year. I see the band coming.

The danger he poses cannot be overstated and it continues to amaze me that people who lived through Covid continue to have this collective amnesia. The musical family the Marsh Family just released a song I think is so relevant to this:

My hope is Trump will dump him soon. But the damage he has already done will be generational.

David Gaynon's avatar

After what we saw in the recent Senate hearings I just wish the Senate would execute its constitutional role to advise the President that RFK must go. The constitution says advise and consent and while the emphasis is often on the consent part -- in this case offering advise would be a good move in service to the American people.

Bill Corbett's avatar

I like that statement, “I wish the Senate would execute” and I’ll leave it at that.

C K Smith's avatar

Yes, nothing more needs to be said after "execute."

Helen Drake's avatar

Ugh. RFK Jr. is such a dangerous psycho and embarrassment to our country. He's got to be fired ASAP if the U.S. is going to be able to rebuild what he has already destroyed. He has set us back years in scientific progress. Thank you, Adam, for this important article. I wish all Americans would read it.

He really is a sleaze bag, isn’t he? He fits right in with all of Trump’s know-nothing-shit-bag cabinet.

Kennedy is allowed to serve in the Trump cabinet after using heroin while Cook is persecuted off the Federal Reserve over an answer on a mortgage application. Why? Republicans defend their own while Democrats cave. Very frustrating.

Excellent explanation

May the Gods help us! The future where our country, as well as the rest of the world, will survive the current regime and the idiocy that is being spewed by those in control is becoming less and less of a possibility. How the orange moron got elected and is able to appoint such totally unqualified criminals to posts with almost total control over our lives is proof that our support of education has been sadly lacking in this country for some time. Those in power believe that if you can keep the populace illiterate they are easier to control. Perhaps killing off the next generation before they can graduate from kindergarten is their primary goal?
