Watched it last night and my husband and I were outraged again at the lawlessness of Trump and Company. Thank God someone like you served on the Jan. 6th committee.

And how on earth could people think they are entitled to threaten the life of you and your family?

I hope this documentary is watched by millions.

Unreal isn’t it. Thanks for watching it

Watching it now and am deeply moved by your commitment and resolve, and deeply saddened by what happened. But this film also gives me hope. I will be sharing it with as many people as I can.

Thank you so much. I have no financial interest in it except in hoping it makes a difference

It has already made a difference in my life. I no longer look at people through the lens of their political labels or how they define themselves politically, but rather look to those whose actions, commitment, and love of country define them. You represent that thread of hope. So much gratitude.

There’s a real ache in this…not just political, but personal.

The feeling of watching something you once believed in hollow out from the inside.

Not suddenly, but slowly. Publicly. With applause.

You don’t romanticize it and not reaching for easy redemption.

Just keeping it real: that the party once served has become unrecognizable, and that principle has been replaced by performance.

This piece carries real grief and not just for a party, but for a lost moral compass.

And maybe, just maybe, there’s still hope…the kind that survives when everything else has burned away.

Thank you for writing this. It matters.

Loved it, Adam. I am going to watch it again with my three teens. I am grateful for your principled example of integrity, Adam, especially for my sons. Thanks for being strong, kind, and vulnerable. I appreciate you!

What broke Watergate and Nixon’s reign was one man willing to come forth and expose the truth. The testimony and willingness of those brave officers to stay strong against unimaginable odds will never be forgotten. Keep speaking out, Adam. Keep the history alive. You are truly appreciated as your intelligence, sanity and compassion help to unite us.

I can't say it any better than you have Wendy. THANK YOU ADAM.

Congratulations on the documentary. I will watch it this weekend. You have sacrificed so much for this country at a great personal cost. We have been sorely needing heroism and integrity in this country. Thank you for standing up and speaking out, even when it’s hard. You keep the rest of us going and feeling empowered.

Watched The Last Republican last night.

My husband and I were deeply moved—and once again, very disturbed—by everything that unfolded. It’s a powerful reminder of the truths America must never forget.

We imagined what both you and Sophia must have gone through rewatching it. Know we and so many others care.

I also want to mention we both were Republicans for over 30 years. Our parents were as well. For us, everything changed dramatically with Trump 1.0, including our party affiliation.

We pray that every American takes the time to watch it. We plan to share it with our grandchildren, as it’s an invaluable tool for educating the next generation. We hope you’ll give some thought to making it into a book. Please.

With heartfelt gratitude to you and Sophia for your service and steadfast dedication to our country.

Thank you Adam. We watched it last night and it sure brought back those memories and emotions we felt in January 2021.

Great job!!

Even more than Kevin McCarthy, I blame Mitch McConnell for urging the Republican Senators not to convict Trump for the January 6 impeachment. We would have been done with it right then and there.

We watched on Prime last night too. It made us commit to doing more, wanting more. It also brought tears to our eyes.

Watched the film last night and echo the sentiments of others on this thread. Just outraged again over the events and what ugliness there is in this world. The people who called and left ugly msgs for you and your staff. To threaten you and your family is outrageous! I’m back to being angry at family members who voted the orange turd back into office. No words left to describe the bitterness over potentially losing our democracy (some feel it’s already lost). Ugh!!!! I’ll keep showing up at all my local protests with my signs… the numbers are growing. And will keep hope alive.

Congrats on the documentary. I watched all hearings related to January 6. I respected you and Liz Chaney’s work on that committee with the Democrats. Your documentary brought tears to my eyes. We ALL must do our part to save our country.

Agree, we need to make allies. It's the only way at this point.
