Every time I listen to your analysis, it really gives me peace of mind. Thank you for always being a calm in the midst of chaos!

A) I hope that we have midterms so that we can see the continued results! B) I love the idea of Trump being wounded. C) I don't think the results mean that "a far-left candidate" is what we should run in every race, and I'm frankly not sure anyone who is credible thinks that way.

I completely agree with your “far-left candidate” statement. The candidates should be a good match for the needs/considerations of the states/regions in which they reside. One size, or in this case, one type, doesn’t fit all. Apart from last night being a response to Trump and MAGA, I also feel that the candidates were the “right” ones for their states and positions.

I hope that's the takeaway of the elections yesterday so moderate and progressive Dems can finally work together.

This is a great night for the United States of America not just the Democrats!

He may not officially run again, but the steps he is taking indicate to me that he has no intention of leaving the WH.

I'm more concerned about the folks around him - Vance, Vought, and especially Miller - how much they are really running things behind the scenes & how we get them out.

I'm concerned too, Emma G.

Thank You Adam ... Yes I am happy, but I know I have to keep fighting. Nancy Pelosi also did what Rahm Emanuel did back in her day. She found candidates that represented there area.

I desperately hope we can win the house in 2026. Fingers & toes crossed . lost in america

I am so relieved by last night! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I also recognize that 40+% still voted red so you are right, there is work to do. The majority of our nation wants to take care of kids and seniors and those working hard to feed their families and people operating small businesses, and people who are in need but we are also know that running on extreme sides doesn't work. Most of us are left or right of center. It is easier to breath today! Maybe those "leaders" on the far right will realize that the head of their party truly doesn't care about them... But, only time will tell. Tomorrow is a new day to work toward taking care of each other. Let's go! Together we rise. :)

Thank you. Adam. Your morality in the face of all this immorality has inspired me all along, every since you said yes to the January 6 investigation.

You are an American hero in the class of John McCain. Listening to you keeps my hopes up that we can survive Donald Trump and maintain our democracy and our values. You always have an interesting and uplifting perspective. Your political advice and strategic suggestions are right on. I hope the Democratic Party is listening! Thank you!

Authenticity is key, but we still need to fight!💪💪 This administration doesn't plan leaving 2028 without a major fight.

What I encourage everyone to remain mindful of is that Trump, on his own, isn't our only nemesis. Miller and Vought are equally scary, and not as mentally depleted as the orange clown. They want power. They want supreme power. And I think they (along with other power/privilege seeking oligarchs and the bozos holding Secretary positions) are pulling Trump's strings, reminding him constantly about why he needs to be 'tough,' go after immigrants, demolish democratic norms, and elevate the white 'Christian' manly man. Yes, we (the anti-MAGA) had a great Election Day, but we need to stay vigilant and active in our resistance to the abhorrent behaviors and actions emanating from the White House. If anything, let's step more fervently on the gas pedal and push this movement ahead with even greater velocity in the next twelve months -- starting today. We can't rest on yesterday's victories. They felt fabulous, but we need a DEEP CLEANING from the Trump administration's filth. We've still got a lot of work to do!!!
