Hi! Was just reading and commenting on your excellent article on Equality is not Oppression and this video post popped up! One thing I heard today from some pundit stuck with me. They said, trump is calling for protection of the protesters in Iran while here he is calling protestors here, in the United States, domestic terrorists and encouraging ICE to use force on them. What country is he the President of again?
Bingo. Such glaring hypocrisy: Trump is threatening Iran’s regime over their brutalization of protesters while his paramilitary (ICE) troops terrorize US civilians. WTF?
I said that same observation to my husband as we were watching Trump encourage the protesters in Iran to stay strong. My belief is that Trump is trying to get the Iranian people to think that he’s on their side and when their government falls, then Trump will crawl in and intervene in their government. Trump doesn’t “play nice” to any foreign country’s people without a vile motive.
I was wondering the same thing. Does he even understand the "irony" of what he is saying? We have no solid, sane leadership so I worry about what will happen in Iran and our role in it. These are such scary times.
I was thinking the exact same thing with respect to Trump‘s comments about the protesters in Iran saying strong. I mean, I know it’s not Apple to apples, but just hypocritical commentary on his part. Our government is shooting, arresting and kidnapping US citizens for standing up for what they believe is right.
The problem with all this is that you speak like we have someone sane directing things like invasions..with Trump and Hegseth there is NO SANITY!!!! There is not one cell in my body that believes that Trump wants to help any other human than himself.
Oh Lord I pray for Iranians. My neighbor's family remains there. She has not heard anything, and is so worried. "They are killing them. People fight with empty hands. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 The good friend of my Syrian friend died last week, defending Aleppo. TYSM AK
I agree with the above comments. Why would Trump be worried about Iranian protesters, and be calling American protesters antifa?? our “regime “seems at least as dangerous as theirs!
Thanks Adam for informing us of the Iran situation. I just watched a video of ice agents pulling a disabled woman out of her car and all I can think of is why don't we send ice to help the people of Iran?? They're itching for a fight! I know. crazy idea!
Adam, I've talked to so many Veterans who served during the time you did in Iraq, and they have never forgotten, nor it seems to me, forgiven, the Iranian regime for the attacks that it sponsored against or forces in Iraq. Not surprising...

You said, “I hope it wasn’t boring” or something to that effect right as I was thinking “Thank God he does these videos, it provides so much context around these national and global issues that you simply otherwise wouldn’t get.” I have tremendous respect for journalists and journalism, but often I don’t get this much “meat off the bone” so to speak, in hours of television news. So, again, thank you so much for taking the time to shed light and share your knowledge and thoughts.
