Nope. 60 year old with grown millennials who are single. One struggles financially and the other doesn’t. I so enjoy listening to him. He is so smart about real life and seems to genuinely care about the world.
I've believed for some time that there's nothing more dangerous than idle, hopeless young men. They'll don brown shirts and suicide vests if they don't think they have a shot at a future.
We have got to turn these things around for our young men. Men need to be needed and women are natural nurturers. The balance isn't that hard to achieve.
I think the OVER sensitivity and triggered-by-almost-everything of young Millennials & Gen Z is a large contributor to the issue.
And SM, the greatest platform for anger danger and where disinformation is allowed to abound. They could fix it with their algorithms--they choose not to.

Chills ran down my spine, listening to that and the negative ramifications of a statement like that for young girls and women .

It is toxic masculinity and violence. A belief in total submission of women.
James Dobson who died last week ,the evangelical Christian nationalist leader and beginning creator of 2025 plan, pushed this. He also after the Sandy Hook shooting of kindergartners,said it happened because “God was taken out of the public schools.”
JD Vance following this Christian nationalist 2025 plan has declared that a woman should “not be allowed”to leave an abusive relationship. He doesn’t seem to mind if children watch their mother get abused both emotionally and physically and in all likelihood they are abused also.
The reasonable thing to do would be to address the abuse and protect women and children.
Love having Cameron on here and hearing his perspective and thoughts on men as a whole and GenZ voters! He and Tim are great together on The Bulwark too! I hope Democratic male voters and those running for office are listening!

Cameron pointing out what Trump came to them and said you’re getting your country back blah blah blah was just to create division totally fueling, dissension , misogyny, and racism orchestrating conflict where there should’ve been none.
This group of men feeling that a woman or minority also living life to their fullest, was a threat to them, took off like wildfire. The big white male privilege victimhood.
Women and minorities getting employed and having opportunities was justice and equality.
Supporting equality in a marriage was a healthy movement. Creating healthier families, more emotionally sound children.
And it should have always been embraced as fairness.
There would’ve been no reason to create diversity, inclusion, and equity programs if the people hiring
People in general had been fair minded
Inclusionary
Have some sense of humanity
Accepting
Instead of being poisoned and perverted from the generations before them passing down misogyny
Bigotry
Racism
Hatred
In public conversations and in private family conversations.
Role modeling of parents with good core values within integrity, honor respect, and character is very important
It takes someone in a family to break the cycle
Back in the 60s and 70s women walked and stood alone against misogyny .

Husbands
Sons
Cousins
Grandfathers
Men friends
All walking side-by-side with them against systemic misogyny sexism, sexual assault.
The tent opened up and men came under it to support the women in their lives in other women.
Christian nationalism 2025 plan Trump and all these Republican men are trying to turn back everything
There is no peace without justice and inequality for all.
These people think they’ve been appointed by God to rule over ordinary men as they consider themselves chosen ones.

The reasons why Trump appealed to young 25-44 year old males were the exact points presented in this interview that convinced him to switch sides twice. Still has no idea how much damage this administration is doing to all Americans. Very sad situation. Seems reasonable talking of the issues is not possible.
I can't imagine how hard that must be for you. My father, a 20-year USAF veteran—kind, intelligent, will give you the shirt off his back—is a three-time Felon 47 voter, and there is no time in my life before 2015 that I ever thought there was a bone in his body that would support someone like that. I, too, wish I could share something like this video, but you can't put toothpaste back in the tube, I guess. You have my sympathy.
