I watched the documentary last night and thought why did...do...the republicans in congress sacrifice morals for trump who is so obviously evil. Has greed destroyed the republicans? During his first term I thought how can evangelicals support trump? In the Bible there is the story of the Israelites forgetting the commandments to worship the golden calf which brought the flood...I see a parallel ... trump is that golden calf. Thank you and your family for your decency.

I acquired it through Amazon to add to my collection, and I found it to be emotionally resonant, particularly given my personal experience of witnessing the January 6th insurrection and its aftermath unfold live. Your courage in standing up for truth and the constitution is inspiring, and it gives me hope for the future of this nation.

What breaks my heart a bit was to see you, Adam, as a child, SO into the Republican Party...and as an adult, get screwed over by that party for standing up to corruption.

When asked why you were a republican , your answer I could relate to , I am a Canadian New Democrat and grew up in a democratic family just after Tommy Douglas brought in Universal Health Care. Bernie Ward reminds me of Tommy Douglas when I hear him rant at the podium. I don't know you Adam but let me tell you nothing is the last time.

Hi Adam. I watched this Friday morning and again this afternoon with my husband. Both times it brought tears to my eyes. I was a republican because I followed my father, his father and so on. The Republican Party of our fathers is no more. You are of the true Republican Party and history will reflect that and you will leave a legacy that your son can be proud of. I hope the tide changes and you can one day consider a presidential run. Although I consider myself 100% democrat at this time, it would have to be a pretty outstanding candidate to convince me to vote for anyone other than you.
I loved the film and am recommending it to everyone. I'm impressed that you and Steve have been able to become friends and discuss your differences. It inspires me to strive for that.
I bought the movie yesterday, but probably won't have time to watch it until my vacation at Christmas. I just knew I needed to have it. And, Steve, one of my all-time favorites is Grosse Point Blank. The cast, the dialogue, the soundtrack. I've seen it at least 30 times. Sorry, had to fan girl a little bit. 😁 Adam, mad respect for you. Mad respect.
I am a lifelong Democrat. I was proud of you serving on the Jan 6 Committee. I watched the Last Republican the day you published the post about it on Amazon (go figure). It is an incredible documentary. I was in tears a few times myself.
I so hope your family and friends who criticized you watch this. Also Republicans serving now. They should be very ashamed.
