Adam, any decline is due to propaganda. Trump is in running with the Russian and Chinese bots in the "America is ruined" propaganda stakes. Sadly, so many people believe the lies and live a life without hope.
If people could look at the big picture, America has progressed from the pandemic and is moving forward and upward.

Real patriots don’t just wave a flag around.
They contribute to their communities, they vote, they volunteer.
They respect our service men and women and honor all Americans , no matter race or creed.
Bowing to the orange man and storming the capital are not patriotic activities.
Period.
