A man I love dearly is on the frontline. I think of him and worry each and every day. I have made friends with several Ukrainians and we correspond. They are strong. They are resilient. All they want is to keep their land and to keep their traditions. For those who read my comment, if you can support the Ukrainian people. By donating to a verified charity or purchase from a se)er in Ukraine (I just received my t-shirts from UA Hearts.com ua). And pray for them and/or send positive energy into the Universe. Praying for all the brave men and women in Ukraine! As someone that feels helpless and wants to help, I will continue keeping them in my prayers! Praying also for the Russians that don't want any part of what their so called Grand Dragon is doing!
Hugs. My parents are in Ukraine, and I can't get them out. We'd lost one family member at the front in the Donetsk Region a year and a half ago. Another one has been a Russian POW since December 2024. Another one is an army medic. Another one is a soldier - still fighting. Hang in there. We are in this together.
I hope one of the first actions after regaining both the House and Senate votes are tallied in November is to reinstate funding and support for Ukraine. Next action is to apply further sanctions against Russia.

A sheer and blatant travesty on how this corrupt administration has abandoned Ukraine and its citizens. May their strength and endurance, especially during these cold winter months, be a symbol of resilience for all to see. God protect them and their allies who have risen to their call.

The day Ukraine was invaded, I was very saddened. I had been sewing that day. I went back into my sewing room, opened the drawer of my solid color material.....and right on the top were large pieces of the colors of the Ukrainian flag. I took them out, cut and pieced a flag together, and hung it in my large window that faces the street. It is still there and will stay there in love and support of Ukraine!!!! My American flag flys proudly outside on my front porch every day honoring my country, and my late husband who served 20 years in the military.

As an American living abroad, my greatest shame is that the U.S., under the trump regime, has abandoned Ukraine. I never thought I would live to see an American government support a Russian dictator. And never, in my wildest dreams, could I ever imagine that an authoritarian, nazi-influenced regime would take over our cities and towns, shit on our Constitution, and dismantle our justice system and the rule of law. All of it is heartbreaking, and, in spite of that, I´m mad as hell !!!
