I am so happy that Ukraine kept trump &

company out of the loop completely on this one. He definitely would have betrayed Ukraine by telling Putin. We are no longer the leader of the Free World. trump has seen to that!

Slava Ukraini!🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

Putin will never give up because he has too much at stake, including possibly his life. Therefore, the puzzle is how to support Ukraine and help them maintain the advantage. Trump, won’t do it unless he gets really pissed at Putin, but he’s too unstable and unreliable to count on. Graham and his sanctions gang? Stranger things have happened, who knows? There’s an old saw that countries fight the last war, especially the losers. Think that’s the case here. It certainly was in Vietnam. I was there. Body count as a measure of success, really? We found out they had a lot more bodies to throw at us in a variety of ways. McNamara, Westmoreland, the wonder boys of those days didn’t come out looking so bright in 1975. Slava Ukraini!🇺🇦🇺🇸❤️‍🔥

Putin has lost a million soldiers. Now he has lost 40 very expensive jets that he can’t replace in a hurry. These specific planes are used for very strategic missions and some are used to protect Moscow. Who knows, Ukraine might strike Moscow just like they did those airports.

Love to see a Kremlin replay! Sleeping in your binder now Vlady?😬

Sorry, bunker, maybe bunker in a blinder😱

Talk about castrating a pig. LOL!

steve's avatar

Oligarchs, their mansions, jets and yachts need drones too!!

joseph price's avatar

Yes, start hitting Putin/Trumps buddies in Russia,,, hard. Then hope some will take THEM out! Imagine getting two bullies at the same time!

steve's avatar

TRump and over half of the Republican party are on Russia's payroll. Not Americans. Russian owned traitors.

virginia arthur's avatar

Do you have proof? That would be wonderful if you do. We could get rid of all of them by having them arrested.

steve's avatar

Funny.....TRump admits it openly and people laugh and ignore it. When will they wake up?? When the concentration and internment camps open?? Or when ICE, FBI, HMS start acting exactly like Hitler's Waffen SS and the Gestapo?? It is a shame that people do not read about history.

virginia arthur's avatar

I have never heard him admit that he is a paid agent of Russia. It is assumed that he is, but you know what they say about the word “assume”……

joseph price's avatar

Then what? They need to be removed from the face of the earth along with MAGA.

Adam, what do you make of no response from the White House and lame mainstream media coverage on these fronts? I think it’s astounding.

Adam Kinzinger's avatar

Media is covering. No White House response is good at least they aren’t condemning

steve's avatar

At least TRump and Drunk Pete did not launch a counterattack on Kiev. I bet Putin called and demanded it!

Jeff the Original's avatar

I'm not sure why you included the MSM on that comment. CNN has been covering the Ukraine attacks quite extensively.

steve's avatar

Putin called TRump and is very pissed that Hegseth did not warn him ahead of time!

Julia's avatar

No reporting on the CBS evening news tonight. Keeping most of the rank and file oblivious.

joseph price's avatar

Trump will not respond until he is directed by Putin but he’s embarrassed by this strike. It should be a daily occurrence.

Steve's avatar

The best way to stop Putin is to stop MAGA.

joseph price's avatar

Indeed! MAGA insurgents are the enemies of democracy

The strike against the Kerch Bridge is particularly humiliating since that is one of Putin's pet projects. There was a lot of pomp when it first opened and this is the third time Ukrainian armed forces were able to inflict serious damage and put it out of commission.

After the annexation of Crimea, Russia's plan was to use the bridge to transport troops and supplies into Crimea and, from there, mount attacks against Ukraine's south, including my native Zaporizhzhya Region. They can't do it by land, because Ukrainians control part of the coast. And they can't do it by sea, because 1) it takes too long - the ferries only have so much payload and are slow, unwieldy things; 2) Ukrainians have already taken out most of Russia's Black Sea fleet, they would make quick work of those defenseless ferries. So, what is left to them now is try and transport stuff into Crimea by air... I am sure everyone can see how that too can be problematic.

Hi Adam,

Trumps buddy is getting his *ss kicked. They need to finish Putin, no negotiations because Russia will still want Crimea. Slava Ukraine. ✊🏽✊🏽💙💙🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

Trump is obsessed with being on the winning side of any issue so that he's not continually viewed as a loser. Ukraine has amply proven their prospects for being a winner, especially with the ongoing support of most NATO countries The time has come for Trump to think about switching sides and actively supporting Ukraine in the defense of their own country.

Hopeful's avatar

Though this winner might be too honorable for Trump's tastes. He wants corrupt aggressors elevated.

I noted a photo of Trump & Orban today — one of the few photos where Trump looks happy, relaxed & fully engaged with another world leader — tells you all you need to know about him-them.

steve's avatar

TRump is a Russian puppet as are a large number of Republicans. they are owned by fear, kompromat and greed.

L.D.Michaels's avatar

I agree that Trump is Russia's puppet but believe that a large number of Republicans are Trump's. His threats to run candidates against them in Republican primaries if they don't support him is what keeps them cowering at his feet. He's a vicious bully and knows that no one will risk their "lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor" to oppose him.

GO UKRAINE! I wish Ukraine could count on us. I just don't see it happening as long as Trump is dictator. I do believe with stronger EU and Nato members support they still have hope for victory.

Robot Bender's avatar

Here's the best part of the drone attack: paranoia. Putin and his cronies can no longer assume that they are safely out of range. The next attack? When? Where? Targeting what, or more ominously, who?

Ukraine has pulled the rug out from under Putin and Trump's feet.

Darrell T's avatar

These attacks went deep into Russia. Hit a naval base in Siberia as well as aircraft. Fuck Putin.

echo4bravo's avatar

"This isn't a symbolic attack. This is a strategic turning point."

Agreed. Why are we half-assing this? We should be dialing it up. Putin is on his last legs.

Ukraine is fighting our and NATO's war.

Let's support and Get with the program people.

This is incredibly great news. Thank you for the informative and thorough update!

Your words near the end of this piece sum everything up so well ("It's showing us what it looks like when courage, creativity, and technology meet a brutal invader"). Hmm... I feel like that is an inspiration to many of us as well... although, our focus is more on the person who has invaded the office of the Presidency.

ClaireG's avatar

This story made my day—yet nary a peep from mainstream news. I am going to be utterly crass and say: Fuck Trump and Fuck Putin.

Jay Jay Eh's avatar

CNN has done some reasonable reporting — “… It added that Ukrainian forces were unable to combat the Russians’ use of fiber-optic drones, which are capable of evading jamming.“ and that lack of Ukrainian personnel was a problem there. Unfortunately.

ClaireG's avatar

Glad CNN finally grew a pair —thanks for additional insight!

It is true: America is now the toddler in the room. That is the level of Trump's knowledge and expertise.

America will have to act to save America. Or the toddler will make it all his. Perhaps we can take action like the brave people of the Ukraine.

Sheila's avatar

Great news—Slava Ukraine!

Ben - MD, VA, NE Florida.'s avatar

This is glorious, but I'm saddened by the fact that the ignorant toddler occupying the Oval Office is so smitten with Putin. I doubt he's going to help Ukraine, or even be able to understand what's going on now.
