Trump’s Latest Stunt: Revoking a Clearance I Don’t Even Have
While I was enjoying the company of friends, Trump was trembling with rage. Ha
Well, it looks like Donald Trump has done it again—another petty, performative move designed to punish his perceived enemies, regardless of reality. Reports are circulating that he’s decided to revoke my security clearance. The only problem? I don’t have one.
I retired from the military a year ago. When I stepped away from Congress, I left behind the clearances that came with those roles. Yet, in Trump’s world—where bluster replaces policy, and revenge trumps reason—facts don’t matter.
Let’s be clear: This isn’t about national security. It’s not about classified information. It’s about Trump’s obsessive need to silence anyone who has dared to stand up to him. My crime? Telling the truth.
As a member of the January 6th Committee, I helped expose his attempt to overthrow democracy. As a Republican who refused to bend the knee, I showed that truth should still have a place in politics. For that, Trump has spent years trying to discredit and punish me. Many would just go silent, pretend to move on, and put out statements with fluff. I won’t, I’ll continue to fight back and dare him to come after me. He is standing on quicksand, and the longer he stands there the more he and everyone will realize just how trapped in his own prison he is. In fact just last night, we had some friends over for a bbq. We had a great time, meanwhile Donald Trump is angrily enacting revenge. That’s ok, it would be tragic if he wasn’t damaging the country.
Revoking a clearance I don’t even have is laughable, but it’s also revealing. This is how a wannabe strongman operates—by targeting political enemies, real or imagined, with no regard for legitimacy. He’s testing the waters, seeing how much control he can exert over institutions designed to serve the people, not his personal vendettas.
And let’s not ignore the bigger picture: If he’s willing to abuse power this blatantly over something so trivial, imagine what he’ll do next. Imagine what happens when his enemies list includes judges, journalists, or everyday Americans who simply refuse to go along.
Trump’s threats don’t scare me. His insults don’t silence me. If anything, this latest stunt only proves what we’ve all known for years—he’s more focused on punishing critics than protecting the country.
So, to Donald Trump: You can’t take away something I don’t have. You can take my non-existent badges from WW2, or my Vietnam awards. But if you think that’s going to stop me from speaking out, you’ve got another thing coming.
America deserves leaders, not petty dictators.

Keep up the good work. I watched all the Jan 6 th testimony. Great work!
Another example of 'do nothingism' performed to mislead his cult followers into thinking he is doing something!
