We live in ugly times and a disgusting, grotesque, obscene country that needs a comeuppance. A hard one. Unfortunately, a lot of good people, and too few of those responsible, will suffer for that. Not an outcome I remotely want. But unless November brings about a massive turnaround, we are looking at a bleak future. Especially for those younger than 78-year old me.

Thanks for doing this digest and especially for having a printed transcript. It gives me good information to use in emailing my GOP Senators and Rep: Missouri’s Hawley, Schmitt and Wagner. My hope is that I may convince staff members to re-assess positions these politicians hold as I become a constituent statistic opposing most views of my elected officials.

I find it disgusting 🤮 that he’s chosen to spend his presidency and our tax payers money in Florida. Why didn’t he tear up his treasured Mar-a-Lago instead of the “people’s house”. Seriously, how much money is wasted w/ his travels to his properties in Florida and to further line his pockets. Has anyone in congress (democrats) made this point. When’s the last time he went to Camp David. I realise my concern is inconsequential compared to what the madman is doing in Iran, around the world and here, but it irks me that he’s running the country from Florida. Not running the country, but ruining the country. November can’t come soon enough, God willing the Dems take back the house and maybe the Senate, but I’m on tenterhooks regarding the outcome.
