I've always thought that if every news outlet were to declare a moratorium on coverage of that individual for just ONE WEEK--no photos, interviews, video, or ANY mention of ANY kind--he'd shrivel up and blow away and the world would be rid of him for good. Press coverage is oxygen to him--he has to have it to survive. Of course, this moratorium will never happen because there's a symbiotic relationship between him and news outlets and social media--they're compelled to cover whatever is hot, no matter how foul, traumatic or disturbing. People who are ACTUALLY strong don't require constant attention--they just get on with it and do whatever needs to be done, regardless of who's watching. Those are the type of people by whom I was raised and whom I respect.

Many bullies are like Trump in that they are babies when the tables are turned. They bully other kids because they feel unloved. By all accounts, there was no real love in the Trump household. Only a love of money.
I have been on Social Security for 11 years. Arkansas Medicaid is paying my Medicare Part B premium which is $185 a month. For much of the 11 years I had to pay it so I got $600 a month or $7,000 a year.
I have survived on that, like I did when I worked at jobs here in 1974 and took home $150 a week.
If I suddenly had one billion dollars, I would have to pay a lot in taxes and would need a good lawyer. Then I would spend my days figuring out how to help as many people as possible. I would not cry and whine about not having two billion. I would not go around like the Supreme Ruler of the Universe. I would dream at night about who else I could help and where I could do the most good.
The very same people who wouldn’t care if Trump shot someone on fifth ave (especially if it’s a liberal because you gotta own the libs even if it screws you😂😂😂) would have set this country on fire if a democrat president or even any other republican president that wasn’t a cult leader did most of what the pumpkin spice buck passer does.
I'm surrounded by Middle Schoolers all day. I hear whining from them all the time, but it is balanced by thoughtful, intelligent brain-work and some incredible sports and music/art prowess.

We know that this president is really a weak human being without a conscience and when asked about something, has the answer, "I don't know, I didn't know about that, Nobody told me." Why the hell is he our president when he knows nothing. He does have some smarts, though. He knows how to ruin lives, he knows how to be corrupt, he knows how to lie(but I wouldn't call that smart), he knows how to make money at the expense of the American people. I wonder how the people that voted for him, that just had tornadoes in three states feel, since there is no help coming and no acknowledgement. I wonder how the people in Florida will feel if they get hit with a huge hurricane this winter and probably have no warning that it is coming. Just have to look at the sky and try to predict. I can't imagine anyone, let alone, a president going on social media and ranting about Taylor Swift and Bruce Springsteen. What the hell does that have to do with government business? He needs to get a life!!! One that is full of good not evil.
As a fellow Gen Xer (sorry it rhymes with Jan 6er), I am grateful to be of my generation and opportunities before all these annoying digital gadgets. Thank you for being a good representative for my age group.

This is an addendum to my previous comment. Part of the problem is that the culture (in general--I'm not calling out individuals here) expects to be entertained constantly, and the Toddler's antics, horrific as they may be, are entertaining. The more awful, the better. "OMG, can you believe what he just said? Did you see that?" His predecessor was content to quietly do his job, and was excoriated for it. The Toddler, if nothing else, is a shrewd marketer and knows that a wrecked train is more fun to watch than a smoothly running one. As Don Henley famously sang, "It's interesting when people die--give me dirty laundry." And it's most interesting when they die in some far-flung place that most of us will never venture near. It will be a very rude awakening when the Toddler does enough damage at home that his fans will no longer be able to switch off the TV.
