Except for our taxes going up. A part of the "great big beautiful bill" currently being drafted in Congress is a proposed Corporate tax on Not-For-Profit Credit Unions. That tax, along with the tariffs, is this misAdministration's back door method of taking more money out of our pockets while claiming not to raise Federal Income taxes. Our State Employees Credit Union bank has sent around an email begging us to write protest letters about the tax.

We must enact new laws that bar someone with a felony conviction from running for any office. We must also stop gerrymandering. If any change needs to be made, neither party should be involved. We must also change the way the Supreme Court is chosen and have rules of ethics strictly enforced for them. We have learned from trump the many types of loopholes that can be utilized. We have to plug all of those.

Only we the people can elect people who will make laws to hold these people accountable. No one‘s going to do it for us. It’s going to take all of the people to get rid of all the spineless people who sit in Congress right now and replace them with middle of the road “ independents” who are not extreme. We can do this at the midterms if we the people stand up and refuse to vote for anyone who is not independent. We have to get rid of both the Republican party and the Democrat party. They are both too tainted and people have become too brainwashed on both sides to give in and change parties. We need a new party that can make Trump impotent for his last two years should he “survive” for two more years. Then they can pass laws which make it clear that we are coming after anyone who got illegal gains during the Trump administration.
We need to claw all of our money back from Trump, his children, his companies, Elon Musk, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and anyone else who benefited. We need to go look at all their financial records and see who benefited.

I absolutely don’t understand why nothing has been done about all this corruption. He has now even stated, on camera, that he doesn’t know if he has to follow the Constitution. No matter what you define as your political beliefs, as an American, we believe in the Constitution. Why can’t we arrest him for treason. I am losing hope. To vote in new Congress members takes too long. We will never return from this if it continues much longer. Media should be fact checking everything but that doesn’t happen. What else do we do?
He could be impeached, but that would take action on the part of Congress, which they are clearly not willing to go against him. So… Until they are voted out of office (which needs to be our full-time objective beginning now) we are stuck with the way things are.

I am 100% certain that my rep and at least 1 of my states senators will do nothing to stop 47's self dealing and corruption. What do you do with a criminal enterprise? One report it to the DOJ and AG. At least put it on record so when nothing is done you can charge them with obstruction or part of a RICO later. Thanks Adam for bringing this all to light. The Democrats would look into this but we won’t be able to get any Republicans to join them. Not one, House or Senate Republican came out yesterday about the question of due process but most importantly, will he abide by the Constitution, to which he said he didn’t know. This is insanity at its core.
If reasonable Democrats and reasonable Republicans would come together as “ independents” we could absolutely get this done… Quickly. But people have to be willing to give up their stigmatizing titles and come together as Americans who care about democracy. I willingly gave up my Republican label. I will never ever vote for another Republican… Ever. That party is dead to me.
I don’t think any Republican is reasonable especially in the House. You have seen some Senators say some things about the tariffs but when it came to what he said yesterday, you haven’t heard a peep.
