The facts would be there and since they would both have the same copies of what really happened their could be no lying about it. If they continue to do that we will never get the truth.

Actually, it is a Trump bait-and-switch tactic to appear transparent while actually hiding the most important info. Trump has not asked the Court to release the Epstein "files." He can do that on his own; the DOJ controls the "files" without need of Court approval. Rather, Trump asked the Court to release the "Grand Jury record," which is only a relatively small subset of the DOJ's full Epstein "files." The Grand Jury record focus on Epstein's criminal activity, but does not include the full set of files.
