This week on The Adam and Zach Show, we break down Donald Trump’s latest video—From there, we move through the other big stories of the day, separating performative outrage from what actually affects the country.
My mom was on Nixon's "enemies list". Middle class mother of 6 living in a small town in northern Illinois. If she sent a donation to his opponent (Muskie?) I'm sure it wasn't a large amount. She is turning 100 in a few weeks -- hoping she lives long enough to vote again!
I wish I had a mobile and PC app that block his name and image and all of his family and admin lackies too. He's loading up on more and more Concerts (Adderall).
There is a thing (I can't remember what it's called; maybe an "extension" in your browser) that turns his image into a cat or a bunny. Doesn't work every time.
Just about every high school (at least 6) in Fresno Unified in CA, and several middle schools, had walkouts from 1/30 to 2/6. Also a few in neighboring and even more conservative, Clovis Unified. They marched to major shopping centers, City Hall, and the school district headquarters. The school superintendent walked with one high school, as a safety precaution, she said. Many schools also had speeches on their quads.
It's true. Listening to some of the kids, particularly the young boys, is sometimes very hard. But there are a lot of them doing good things, too. We need to stay strong and keep standing up and modeling alternatives to Trump.
It worries me that Adam and Zach don't seem to realize that Trump et al. plan to disrupt and undermine the Nov. elections in every way they can. And they can -- and, I think, will -- do a lot of damage, because they just ignore the laws. In the mind of Trump and his cronies, they'll have control over the election results, so they don't care about how Trump's racism and insane arguments with world leaders come across to voters. I really want Adam and Zach to look closely at how the elections can be undermined -- and what the Dems and others who care about democracy should be doing about it.
12% of Republican senators and 5% or Republicans in the house were willing to say something. Yes, I'm please that, as least, a handful Republican legislators, finally, had the courage to say something. That said, it's a very low bar if this is something we think is enough. To be clear, hopefully, it is an indication that the GOP is making steps to be more sane and less beholded to Trump.Still, these small percentages remain seriously disturbing.
Lots of my neighbors and family don't believe that government violating 'other peoples' rights will not happen to them, as long as they keep their heads down, not realizing their UNwillingness to stand up vocally and peaceful protests for orhers rights makes them complicit in losing our own freedoms and rights ... very frustrating.
We HAVE been bombed in this country. Tulsa Race Massacre of 1921, comes to mind. This was a bombling. And there are others. Please don’t forget he did this during Black History Month.

Our High Schoolers staged a walk out in Boise. The next day ICE showed up at the school.

He is teaching our young to be very selfish and disrespectful while destroying our country with everything that comes out of his mouth.

I amazed that people don't see this revenge administration as sinister and just plain crazy. AND time and money spent on things that don't help them.
