The courts have to hold the line here!!!

"DICTATOR" I'm yelling it from the roof tops!!! It's official, the tyrants like to disobey court orders. The Saddam Hussein of America with his golden Palace (White House) has essentially pushed aside the Federal Courts and Congress and taken control of the country. This is a message that needs to be mentioned over and over again. "We The People " need to take it to the streets sooner rather then later. We all need to wake up QUICKLY!!!

β€œWe’re not stopping. I DON'T CARE WHAT THE JUDGES THINK. I don’t care what the left thinks. we’re coming,” Tom Homan told β€œFox & Friends”. And this is the problem!

The Democrats need to stop worrying about governing and start acting like the opposition party defending the Constitution. They should be pointing out all the damage the tyrants have done and start taking the message to the people.

A life-long Republican in my state recommends setting up a nationwide grassroots goal - "Project 2026." Win over enough Republicans, Independents, and previous nonvoters and rally around stopping the destruction of our democracy (we have the longest-standing democracy on earth). Convince them all to vote in the 2026 election. Win a Democrat majority in the US House (a Democrat Speaker of the House) and a Democrat caucus supermajority in the US Senate. Then hold sequential impeachments and convictions of two Presidents. There would be a Democrat president. Then impeach, convict, and replace any unethical US Supreme Court Justice(s). We need a third party alternative.

How did President Zelensky get his Servant of the People Party up and running and then elect him as president? We should investigate this and see what we can apply to our current situation perhaps.

I really like the Forward Party. They're already up and running. Party leadership includes Republicans, Democrats and Independents. Not Left, Not Right...Forward! https://www.forwardparty.com

Loved in that video about Trump's threats where you added the comment "bring it fatso." I did have coffee in my mouth at the moment though, that's my only complaint.

Yeah, I’ve seen him saying this for several days now and fortunately my iPad handles the occasional spray of wine well.

From one combat Vietnam Veteran to two Veterans with similar distinctions, who I'm certain did not let 'sore heel spurs' prevent them from serving our Great Nation in its time of need. I salute you and love you both. Congratulations on your current and past successes. Colonel John Finn {Ret.USA}.

About half way through this video you, Adam, complained that Democrats don’t have passion. I disagree with you, but only in the details. Democrats have passion, but it isn’t focused by fear and hate the way it is for Republicans. That fear and hate is concentrated by MAGA like a magnifying glass does the Sun. Democrats bask in their supposed freedom to discuss issues from any and all minute points of view and that disperses their power against Republicans. You’re right, though. Democrats need to have passion. I believe the Constitutional crisis brought about by Trump’s roughshod administration WILL focus little-d democratic passions. The conversation needs to be all about what democracy is. Democrats need to be all about democracy and what it means to ALL Americans.

I harp on this often, that Americans have become complacent, and that’s why fear and hate have been able to take control of our government. We complacent Americans are feeling the fall out from that and, hopefully, will rise up stronger and more vocally with activism that can save democracy.

Roy, I do feel like Dems are lost right now. I am an Independent but due to the 2016 election fiasco, I have been voting Democratic to avoid the other outcome. When Harris got put up to run, I saw a lot of positive energy and passion. When she didn't win (and I thought it was amazing in that brief campaign that she got that close), I saw and felt defeat. In watching the political "leaders" right now, I see the same lack of cohesion that we saw in the Repubs last cycle. Just like the Repubs laughed at the Dems, the shoe is on the other foot. What will light their fire? At the very least, we need working in UNISON but then turn that unison into VISION. What's the vision? Instead of it just being NOT what the other side stands for, a decision needs to be made what the party STANDS for. For that, we need a visionary and charismatic leader. Who can that be? Can Dems unite in identifying a willing leader that can take them where they want to go while exuding a positive and contagious energy that motivates the party to remain united and follow?

I feel the same. We are trying our damnedest. But it has been overwhelming for all of us including our politicians. How futile not having any majorities Le Sigh.

This was a great video and I watched live. I missed the first few minutes so if I missed the gloating about Putin keeping Trump waiting for his β€œexcellent phone call” today I’m sorry I didn’t get to enjoy the Schadenfreude first hand.

Adam, we HAVE to hit the streets, now! There have been four organized protests already and they are getting bigger and more organized every time. 50501 is working with indivisible andgeneral strike us.com and others to coordinate. 50 protests and 50 states. The next big protest in DC is April 5. As many people as can make it there should. I’m in Oregon, so will likely protest at my state capitol. All the folks from other countries who have experienced authoritarianism are telling us to do this NOW. It will only get harder later. And I believe that it’s going to take all of us in the streets for the weak Republicans to finally step up. I think the good people of the military and other bulwarks will join us when they see the masses.

Diane1's avatar

Indivisible had protests all over the country today at congressional republican representative offices. I went to one next to my district as I am lucky to have a Dem Representative. And yes April 5th they will be at main government buildings- there's one I am going to at my county office building.

Emkaykay's avatar

I’m tempted to go to one in DC and drive from Idaho. I don’t know that it will be April 5th but then will there be a chance for another?

Diane1's avatar

Indivisible has local groups all over the country. They link with 50501 and others in a myriad of actions.
