Considering that there have been a dozen assassination attempts in the last three years on President Zelensky's life and that's a significant threat and likely direct from Putin's mouth.
And WHAT INFURIATES ME?NOBODY IS PICKING IT UP, NOT THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA, NOT FOX, NOT CNN - NOBODY IS PICKING UP A DIRECT THREAT TO ZELENSKY.
Please share widely. Make it an urgent talking point - get it to the media.
Tonite, both the Times and Post are reporting that all military aid to Ukraine is being stopped until Emperor Pissy Pants decides Ukraine "is serious" about peace.
Neither paper has stated the obvious -- he can't legally do that. These are already approved Congressional appropriations packages, not whims subject to his displeasure.
My fervent desire is for Dems to start having town hall meetings in red districts everywhere. The GOP is so invertebrate now and so scared of their constituents that the Dems have a massive opportunity to give people an opportunity to express their outrage, be heard and create a path forward. We have to take advantage now.
Unfortunately there is no effective Democratic Party in my County (part of Adam's last district). They have a website and an Executive Board, but no scheduled meetings (the last one was in 2021). Richard, I was a Republican for 45 years until 2016. I did not know anything about trump, so I researched him and did not like what I found. I voted for Hillary and Democrats all down the ballot. When the 2018 election rolled around, I switched my registration to Democrat because I realized my Republican Party was in its death throes because MAGA was taking over. I was a moderate Republican and now I am a moderate Democrat. I have always believed in equal rights for everyone and in helping those who are in need.
Independent is another option, but maybe only slightly more palatable to the county Democratic Party. Plus, I need to determine how registering Independent will affect what I will get for a Primary election ballot.

If memory serves, Zelensky stated at the beginning of the war - I mean - INVASION, that he would keep dressing in his tactical uniform until the Russians stopped their attacks on his country. Vance sounded like a needy boy trying to get his father's/Trump's attention. I don't think for a minute it was spontaneous, btw.

I do wonder abt the protest strategy. I think the regime is just waiting for those to get large so they can declare martial law. I’m doing economic boycotts and more inclined that way. Nothing can stop those.

AND it will be supported by our own State Media (FOX News) telling viewers that Antifa / The Democrats / Radical Leftists or whatever have gotten totally out of control and are burning our cities so we HAVE to have Martial Law... So, any thoughts on how to get around THAT - would be a good topic for discussion / strategy.
I'm a Vietnam Era Veteran and during my time in the. service I spent months at a time on a submarine underwater at the frontlines of the Cold War against Russian aggression. And to see this president and republican congress turn over all we accomplished to a Russian dictator is despicable. I realize I should watch Trump's State of the Union address, but it infuriates me to hear his lies. And then on top of that to see the Republicans cheer him on is beyond deplorable.
