History will convict Trump but unfortunately 76 million voters did not. They either celebrated or ignored his crimes. America’s moral standing is no more. Nonetheless, I am very grateful for your courage and leadership. Hope the Last Republican finds a distributor soon. I really want to watch it.

Lois W. Halbert's avatar

My gut tells me that Republicans are also going to rise up against him and his gang. I hear people say that they made a hugh mistake. Since Musk has taken over, Trump will get fed up with him shortly.

Tai's avatar

Perhaps Republican voters may wake up. But they must vote out other Republican elected officials 1 by 1 to give us even a fighting chance. 2017-2019 class of republicans were bad enough and they are infinitely more corrupt, and authoritarian leaning if not outright cheerleading.

His average love affair lasts a few days to a few weeks❤️😂 a very constant and reliable guy!😱

Lois Wymore's avatar

🤣got that right. SD described djt having a “mushroom dick,” I can only think of him that way and as the baby trump blimp & laugh! However , I am worried about the extreme damage this liar continues to man will do to our country.

Wry Banter's avatar

So much for allowing the American people to judge him at the ballot box. This was no mis-carriage of justice, it was a train wreck of justice. I have never believed in the death penalty for convicted felons because it is not really justice. It is vengeance carried out by the state using flawed procedures. Those same flawed procedures let a convicted felon walk.

His Majesty may believe our moral standing will soar after he wages war on the Native folks in Greenland before moving on to the Panamanians. After Putin orders him to take out Canada in order to do away with the joint operation with our northern neighbor that protects us from over-the-top missile strikes, he might pause and end up declaring the maple leaf to have been the U.S. national carbon-ingestor all along, proving that there is no longer a need to ever again bother dealing with the climate change "Hoax". He will then pardon Mexico if our southern neighbor agrees that the Gulf of America is a better name and sweetens the deal by encouraging him to rename the Gulf of California as the greatest water hazard known by golfers from Saudi Arabia to Mar-El-Lago.

We must not ever relent in hammering this message home. We must also hammer Merrick Garland to release the special counsel report before 01/20/2025. Write to your Senators and Representatives and ask them to pressure the AG's office. We only have 11 days to protect the record. Thank you for your patriotic work, Mr. Kinzinger.

Diane1's avatar

yes! I have little hope of that happening- Smith has to respond to Appeals Court =- then trump appeals etc. trump will go all the way up to SCOTUS. We don't have much time left

Wry Banter's avatar

47-elect has effectively run out the clock of justice making the rule of law in this country a constitutional mockery. If you have power, money and influence, you *are* above the law. It is a page out of Roy Cohn’s playbook, who taught 47-elect how to effectively threaten, deny, lie, cheat, bribe, and intimidate his way to power.

Corinne Corley's avatar

You hit the nail on the head; and get a bonus point for your correct use of the Oxford comma in your third sentence. ;-)

Wry Banter's avatar

Wow!! The Oxford comma. Should I feel erudite? 😉

Praying that the Jack Smith report is released, which will be one more for the historical record.

I cannot believe that judge (loose) cannon can get away with the blatant bias she so obviously has towards the orange (although lately he’s looking paler than he used to: changed makeup artist I guess) man-baby. Someone higher up in the court system needs to clip her wings and put a stop to her crookedness. The Jack Smith reports need to be made public before inauguration.

MzNicky in East Jesus, TN's avatar

I agree. But then I think, by that time, so what? Way too late for repercussions for Donny, not that he ever has to face them anyway.

Mari Wilson's avatar

It is EXTREMELY important for the historical record, too!

BP's avatar

The “faithful” won’t care or believe any of it, but the rest of us will at least be able to read it.

Kiwiwriter47's avatar

Sure she will.

Can you say, "Chief Justice Aileen Cannon?"

Richard Breining's avatar

Remember "Stop The Steal", the slogan used by election deniers everywhere?

I suggest that we, the sane ones, adopt the slogan "Stop The Blame"!

EVERY DAY I hear tump, his supporters and Republicans BLAMING the Democrats, Biden, Immigrants, Judges (except Cannon), Jack Smith, the 'Deep State' and everyone EXCEPT themselves for various things.

Today, trump blamed Gavin Newsom for the wildfires in Los Angeles.

I am so sick of maga's Blame Game! I think we should shout "STOP THE BLAME" from everywhere across this country!

"STOP THE BLAME"!

Kiwiwriter47's avatar

Yes, but you have to remember…when things go wrong for the Bloated Yam in his term, and the country goes to hell, he can’t POSSIBLY BE AT FAULT.

So he will need scapegoats….

Richard Breining's avatar

EXACTLY why i suggest our slogan is "STOP THE BLAME"! To which I add a response when they continue their blame game. It is "BLAH, BLAH BLAH..." Which stands for Blame, Lies And Hate. Only when we consistently publicly respond to their BS can we start to effect changes in their behavior.

True, but we can and should fight back publicly and consistently in greater numbers.

Sigrid Mosmann's avatar

Cannon is either really stupid or simply getting in line for the "promotion" to SCOTUS. The level of bias and incompetence she has shown is actually embarrassing. I assume Thomas and Alito ( + wives) are getting ready to head off into the sunset together on some fancy plane donated by some rich person to go to some fancy resort paid for by some other grifter ..... so there should be spots to fill .....

Kiwiwriter47's avatar

Ms. Cannon probably can suck a golf ball through a garden hose.

Anyway, Thomas and Alito will not quit…the three liberals will go into “protective custody” or be “victims of a mugging gone bad.” So will Roberts.

The MAGAts will whoop through Aileen.

Sigrid Mosmann's avatar

Thanks for the chuckle ......

Eileen's avatar

Yup. One way or another.

MzNicky in East Jesus, TN's avatar

Or if it’s not released, that someone somewhere leaks it.

Diane1's avatar

It will be in the records though although who knows what trump people in DOJ will do to it.

Diane1's avatar

If it doesnt happen b4 Jan 20th we will won't see it until another president gets in and that AG releases it.

Richard Breining's avatar

We should somehow get our hands on it before the maga DOJ deletes it

Charles Long's avatar

Adam I love you man…but history convicting Trump? What, like history has convicted those that committed genocide on the native Americans? And what good did that do all the people that died, lost their lands and culture? We’re talking about a felon and adjudicated sex offender who was just elected President! Trump has gotten away with everything so far and it seems he’ll continue to do just that. All this “Trump is gonna get it ONE DAY” has started to ring so hollow - especially since we live in a country that allows a non-qualified bimbo like Eileen Cannon to push around the Attorney General. Why is there nothing we can do NOW? Why is the opposition so weak and feckless? THESE are the actions and answers I want - not some “historical” condemnation of Trump after I’m dead and gone

Joan Bailey's avatar

Amen brother! I want to see him get his due(jail time) while I’m still here. I’m 73, tick tock, time’s a wasting.

Diane1's avatar

Tik Tok- me too!! I have seen so much progress in my lifetime and now I have to witness a total reversal of all our accomplishments! Although I am an eternal optimist it's hard to maintain that.

Sigrid Mosmann's avatar

Oh, yes!! Wouldn't it be great to see him all dressed in an orange jump suit - to go with his orange skin and whatever weird colour that hair is --- and a big ol' scowl on his face ....... you are right, tik tok, tik tok .......

Cindy Marshall's avatar

Amen! Same here, Joan! But we believe Eternity is a long time!! No one is guaranteed a happy one!😇

Maria K.'s avatar

Exactly! I don't want "one day". He needs to get it NOW. He is so overdue it's not even funny.

Diane1's avatar

I fear that is what it will be. He already got the federal cases dropped. the only thing we have left is Smith's report of what evidence he has- That will be in the record but who knows what will happen to it when trump's people are in charge? If we don't see it b4 Jan 20th- we will never see it and it may be altered.

Wry Banter's avatar

Preach it! Instead of the rule of law making an example of 47-elect, he has made a mockery of the rule of law. I feel like I am living in the Stranger Things Upside Down.

We really must work to IGNORE the ravings of this conman. He is a disgrace to the USA, and revels in dragging us into his sick egomaniacal world. Shame on us for being duped, over and over again.

Wry Banter's avatar

I will never ignore his ravings and deeds. I will amplify and repeat them just to make sure we do not forget.

Richard Breining's avatar

And every time they (trump,, vance, trumplicans or maga supporters) blame someone or something else say "Stop The Blame". If they continue blaming say Blah, Blah, Blah! (Blame, Lies And Hate). There is nothing distasteful about either response. If this is done consistently with everyone that plays their offensive game (including your maga "friends"), it will eventually change their behavior for the better even if it still isn't perfect. The only way to effect change is to do something.

Wry Banter's avatar

Hear, hear! Well said.

Michelle Jordan's avatar

If only Trump cared about what history will say about him! Not that there's anything he could do about it at this point in his wretched life. The values that we at least make a strong attempt to live by are meaningless to him. I will never understand why so many people support him.

SPW's avatar

According to NBC today, Garland is set to release part one that addresses the J-6 insurrection but is holding part two concerning the purloined documents since there is an appeal going on. Chances are, again, delays with appeals processes underway, that report may never see the light of day 🤬🤬🤬!,

Mari Wilson's avatar

That useless eedjit.

Darrell Smith's avatar

The DOJ plans to release the Jack Smith papers on Jan 6 and the stolen documents. Cannon's objections are being thrown out.

Look for Trump's garbage to get farther out. If he gets stressed out or mad enough, we may not have to worry about him in the White House.

MzNicky in East Jesus, TN's avatar

I still don’t understand how that pipsqueak Florida judge has any say in this case, at all.

Richard Breining's avatar

Agreed. She should be removed from the bench. Judges are supposed to be unbiased. That she is totally biased is plain for everyone to see. Some SCOTUS judges are as well (Thomas, Alito for instance).

Charles Long's avatar

Unfortunately - that’s the shitshow US legal system at work. An unqualified inexperienced judge can tell the Attorney General what to do!!

And Mark Fuckerberg! I am so done with him and all SM. Fauxbook is the last one I’m on, and barely. He has drunk, drank, drunken the Scump kool-aid. That last straw was this “moving to a more X like community notes” thing.

Only we can take these assholes out, by not supporting their platforms of lies and hate and division—despite the good parts about staying connected—their greed and susceptibility to the Cult of Trump must makes us act. Because only losing money will change their behavior!

Richard Breining's avatar

I removed myself from Facebook in December.

Wry Banter's avatar

Only a portion of them will be released to the public.

SPW's avatar

Watch Harry Litman or Joyce Vance’s substacks for more details there.

Mari Wilson's avatar

Not familiar with Harry Litman. Def a Joyce fan! Thx for the reco. My recs:

Judd Legum—Popular Info. Matt Stoller, BIG—his sole focus is monopolies. Brilliant stuff!!

Ryan Grim & Jeremy Scahill, Drop Site News—war & politics; Jeremy cofounded The Intercept almost 12 years ago.

Heather Cox Richardson (I imagine most of you are already a fan), and although so many people consider him ‘“far left”, Robert Reich. He is a man for the people, the working people, Middle America. He has been warning about being where we are now for over 30 years. He was Clinton’s Secretary of Labor and even pissed off his own Democratic colleagues back then with his man of the people thing.

poison/hatred/threats coming from and through trump and musk - is there nothing Biden can do to rein them in…? now??

It's all BLAH, BLAH, BLAH. Blame Lies And Hate.

Dianne's avatar

I hope that when that moron finally croaks they finally release all the reports and share the lurid details on him so he won’t be revered and honored in death. Such a contrast with the 39th POTUS whom we are honoring this week.

Shawnnie Larente's avatar

Adam, I hope I live long enough to see him held accountable for all his dirty deeds. I hope it does not take decades for people to see his true character. Or, I should say complete lack of.

I love this sight and your videos. You are a true leader. I would love seeing you and Liz run for office. Again, thank you for all you do. You, are part of the " Greater Good" ,

Bryan's avatar

Trump was impeached twice and indicted for multiple crimes seemingly more serious than the ones he was convicted of. Although this crime might have made the difference in his ever gaining the White House, many people will consider it a relatively minor white collar crime.

Do you think he will ever be held accountable for stealing US top secret documents? Will the American people ever get to know the exact nature of these crimes and the evidence that was compiled? This would seem like a far more important thing for the history books.

Rita B's avatar

I sure hope history portrays Trump as he truly is.; a corrupt, self serving, narcissistic, demented sociopath. He may have fooled 49% of Americans (which is sad enough) but we can’t let him rewrite history.

Mari Wilson's avatar

Rita, off course it will. And don’t forget his children will be culpable as well. And their children’s names will forever be associated with this stain on American democracy.

Richard Breining's avatar

Even today, the name trump is, for a great many people, reviled. Think about it: what are your immediate thoughts when you hear the name "trump"? Are they positive? Do you feel uplifted? Happy? Hopeful? Joyful? Or are you saddened, worried, scared, angry, disgusted or furious?

Whatever your answers are, remember that this is what the name "trump" means to you Today! History can do no better!
