"I'm not alleging that Lindsey Graham is a spineless beta bitch constantly in search of a big strong Alpha to give direction and purpose to his flaccid little life --- but I am saying it bothers me, it's disturbing that this is new information."

Jayne Spence's avatar

OMG I couldn’t have said it better. Lindsay is totally political and lies and innuendo is all he knows.

Cindy La Ferle's avatar

He's a disgusting little creep.

Liz O'Connor's avatar

There’s gotta be pictures involved….

You guys are making me actually🤣 “flaccid little life,” and brown noser. Director of Stupid, Gabbard, Lindsay the Limp, and Pres Pedo are going to have bigger distractions going forward because most of the world now hates our guts, justifiably, and that super economy and stock market are looking like an over ripe tomato that fell off the vine and is waiting for someone to step on it. So send some subs to Russia because Medevev isn’t allowed to blow and bluff, only Big Orange, and that damn Commerce guy who gave the bad job numbers today, make sure he’s cleaned out his desk and escorted from the building before closing! After all it’s Friday. Tidy up for the weekend show-golf anyone?

Jeff Lazar's avatar

Hey, Lindsey. Do you know the difference between a brown-nose and a shithead?

It's just a matter of momentum, and you've got the Big Mo going!

Kat Hudy's avatar

You know what bothers me, Mr Graham? That you’d even bother with this, when you know in your gut, that the investigation was already done! But you’re willing to spend more tax payers dollars to appease your leaders massive ego, when you know the answers. You and your fellow Repugnants in Congress make me very angry.

MARYANNE C's avatar

It’s always good soul cleansing to admit when we’re wrong in the face of new information … I hereby admit I used to admire Lindsay and thought he would be one of the few who in the end would stand up. I could not have been more wrong.

Ellen Brown's avatar

Because there is nothing else Graham should be focused on? Our taxpayer money is wasted on BS like this. Is there anything else on which these people can focus? Investigating Obama, investigating Jan 6th Committee. Seriously? When will government start governing in a meaningful way? We need someone to challenge this nonsense.

Paul Schlotthauer's avatar

And let's not forget the really important business of renaming the Kennedy Center!

Ellen Brown's avatar

We are the laughing stock of all our allies

LeftCoastReader's avatar

Yes. And I wonder, if we are leaving ourselves open to attack by reorienting all our security agencies inward, if we were attacked, would our allies come to our aid again?

Paul Schlotthauer's avatar

A very good point. Our allies feel betrayed, frightened, and mistrustful, and rightfully so. When we finally purge this country of the evils of Trumpism, we're going to have to work very hard to regain the confidence of the allies whose loyalty we've abused.

LeftCoastReader's avatar

Absolutely agree. Trust is easy to lose and hard to restore.

Ellen Brown's avatar

Let’s hope they know the majority or close to a majority of Americans find this all to be buffoonery and back us

Gail T's avatar

No, the majority of the American people are not considered a laughing stock. The laughing stock are the "earn while you learn" incompetents in the White House and the T administration. (Include the twisted Project 2025 bunch as well.)

They are not only incompetent but also severely incapable of one of the most basic human qualities - Compassion.

They've got the human capacity for Greed and Pride down very well indeed, however.

Ellen Brown's avatar

Well said & so very true

Monica's avatar

I'm not sure they're laughing at us, but I can believe they are definitely wondering if a relationship with the US is still a good thing to have. Trump may be costing us allies

Gail T's avatar

Or the Gulf of MEXICO!

Pamela Mendenhall-Howard's avatar

Paul......or the Gulf of Mexico or Canada as the 51st state or buying Greenland!

Sheryl Weintraub's avatar

Speaking of Jan 6-did Lindsey think the coup trial balloon perpetrated by his puppet master was worth a second look? That was actual acts, not made up "wag the dog" attempt at distraction.

crazy cat lady's avatar

i've also thought lindsey graham was an opportunistic lapdog. for me it began when graham was a staunch supporter and friend of john mc cain. trump has always insulted and hated mc cain. however, when mc cain passed away, and when trump became president the first time, graham fell into line behind trump. he betrayed his old friend mc cain. so this is nothing new for graham. wherever he sees opportunity to boost his own interests ... well ... that's where graham goes. now we have more and more attempts at distraction from the epstein files. trump and his minions are throwing everything they possibly can at the wall in some desperate attempt to get something to stick. there has never been any hint that trump did anything wrong during his years of friendship with epstein, but the more trump and his minions throw shiny objects around in the hopes that we will chase those objects and forget about epstein, the more we should wonder what those epstein files show about trump.

Pamela Mendenhall-Howard's avatar

Crazy Cat Lady......I believe trump is complicit and participated in Epstein depravity.

crazy cat lady's avatar

i do, too, and i think anyone with a brain thinks that, and the more they try to deflect the attention on everyone else, the more i think that. if that ever proves to be true, that would be the end of MAGA.

ClaireG's avatar

Before I got here to the comments I was afraid the torrent of curse words that I was spewing would be offensive—but apparently we are all on the same page! Graham can EFF all the way off—Lindsey showed a tiny bit of spine after the J6 horror—well guess what you gutless piece of shit—you are showing your true go with the prevailing winds to cover your ass. I am so OVER THIS BULLSHIT! I am so sorry, Adam, I just am at my limit and rather than yell at my husband without cause, I chose this forum. This was a perfect debrief that I will be sharing. Have a great weekend, and thank you for giving me the opportunity to vent my wrath!

Gail T's avatar

So, so many are in the same place you are... Am writing this after yet another dictum from the "People's" White House... Another horrible firing of a "non-political" Truth Teller. (Truth must be ignored at all cost!)

Lindsey Graham is a phony like the rest of his party. Full of hot air and speculation. Hope he loses in the next elections for the sake of our country and its people.

Paul Schlotthauer's avatar

I remember Lindsey Graham shouting "I've had it with this president!" after the January 6 insurrection was quelled and the members of Congress returned to their chambers. I remember Mitch McConnell warning that our country's democracy would go into a death spiral if Congress didn't oppose Trump's allegations of a stolen election. I remember those other Republicans (unfortunately, not all of them) quivering with outrage and righteous anger--if not at Trump's treason then at his callous willingness to risk their lives for his own selfish purposes. They had it in their power at that time to destroy Trump's political clout forever. And yet four years later most of them ran to him as if January 6 had never happened. Lindsey Graham is a spineless weasel, and I can't understand how he can look at himself in the mirror each day. How can he not feel overwhelming shame and self-loathing for his cowardice and his betrayal of our democracy? He's gone from kissing Trump's ass to downright licking it. That man, and those like him, isn't fit to scrub our toilets, much less represent us in Congress and legislate. He may not have committed treason in actual deeds, but he certainly has in spirit.

Pat Tom's avatar

We all should blame Mitch McConnell. If he had voted to impeach Trump, we wouldn't have this mess, and the world would be at peace.

LYNN COOK's avatar

McConnell...Pat...my nominee for the overall best Benedict Arnold of the repulsican

cult . He and Linsey Graham Cracker.are.salivating at their traitorous " payoff" somewhere down the trumpian road. May their names be forever inscribed on History's " INFAMOUS " rolls ...the worst of the Worst.

Marguerite Foster's avatar

Impeach, convict and removal is the only way it works. Impeachment alone does not remove him from office. He was impeached twice the last time he was in office.

Mitch (with a B) should face the same, impeach, convict and remove. Too bad our congresscritters don’t have the cajones to do this.

Pat Tom's avatar

Mitch McConnell is always against Democrats. What a loser, never for the Country.

LYNN COOK's avatar

" Mitch ( with a B ) ??? Haven't heard that one before, Marguerite.!

Thanks for my chuckle of the.day 🤗

Marguerite Foster's avatar

Glad I could help you out with the chuckle; I chuckled myself when I wrote it. 😅🤗

TLO's avatar

The only President to commit treason to the United States is and will be Trump. Gabbard herself is arguably treasonous and Graham is nothing but a spineless lackey continually searching for relevance. I'd poke fun at South Carolina for electing him, but then I'd have to point at every red state. I'm not clear what the GOP is doing these days, but it's not taking care of the country, or even seeming to care about the country.

Pat Tom's avatar

The entire White run by criminals.

CB Murray's avatar

Not sure he was ever all that principled, but yes - he has certainly gone full speed ahead on the trump train.

Judy Guenther's avatar

Have they really make themselves believe these lies? Have they stopped so low they are below sea level? So disgusting. And I know where they should be lookin for lies, deceit, grifts, lawbreaking, and constitution breaking.

Pat Tom's avatar

Can you believe SOB fired a member of the labor because the Job Numbers report does not meet his standard, and he is claiming the numbers are rigged to make him look bad. What a piece of shit.

Laurel Heidtman's avatar

After January 6th, it boggles the mind to think that any Republican has the nerve to allege that Obama and the Dems attempted a coup.

Jay Jay Eh's avatar

But PROJECTION is their strongest suit!

Allen B from MD's avatar

Spot on, Adam. Lindsay Graham has developed a serious case of osteoporosis of the spine, which has left him completely without a backbone. It's like putting a chicken wishbone in vinegar, watching it turn rubbery and pliable. I guess he is shape-shifting to overcome the competition he is facing in his Senate primary run come next election, which will ultimately cede the election to his Democrat opponent. What would John McCain think?

To the real Lindsay Graham, "come out, come out, wherever (whoever?) you are!"

Professor Mac's avatar

The art of distraction flavored with ego and revenge for imagined slights. Obama was far more loved and/or approved by the American people than Trump. Going after him creates a massive distraction that will consume resources and time that would otherwise be focused upon holding Trump accountable and at the same time generate support for failed MAGA Republicans in the midterms.

Graham is just bowing to Trump and selling his soul.

Desperation politics is a perfect name for what you described. That’s always the game going on when evil people drown out the light in any decent operation. I know because I was a teacher and was surrounded by the desperation politics that goes on in education.

I’m sad to say that a nation that doesn’t get that its teachers are its most precious resource - a higher power’s gift to inject civility and goodwill among people - and continues to ignore its teacher whistleblowers at WhiteChalkCrime.com and EndTeacherAbuse.org, who, since 2002, have been crying out for help against the fascists and the complicit unions controlling their profession, now has the government it deserves.

You are now experiencing leadership exactly like what teachers have had to endure while you have continued to ignore us and Abraham Lincoln, who warned, "The philosophy of the school room in one generation, will be the philosophy of government in the next."

This entire nation has let its teachers and thus children down - only a handful has  bothered to read my book, A Graver Danger, about how to end school shootings - and yet it can’t understand how it ended up with the class clown as president.

Our schools are what broke us. Only leadership that gets why they must listen to its teachers who are courageous enough to speak the truth can lead us out of this living hell. That’s what we’ve not had. That’s what we need.

Eloquently put, Karen. BRAVA !
