I am a native of Los Angeles and agree completely: DO NOT WAVE/WEAR THE MEXICAN FLAG during the protests. Think about it! You are protesting being deported back to Mexico, yet, you wave or wear the Mexican flag. It does not make sense. This inflames anti-immigration sentiment.
I like the idea of unity in diversity and having the flags next to each-other. When we were stationed in Spain, we had pins with the Spanish flag and the American flag.

I have seen many people overemphasize, euphemistically said, their “identity” to the point where it becomes anti-USA. They should make a choice. Either make allegiance to the flag of the country you move to and live in OR go back. We all have ancestors who came from other lands. At some point, they swore allegiance to the Constitution of the USA.

According to the Guardian, 11 million people protested in No Kings protests on 6/14/25. So we only need a half million more people to join the ongoing protests to shake up Trump’s authoritarian backsliding.
I have seen that information repeated a lot. One thing that I wonder about, since we are such a large country geographically is 3.5 percent of the population spread out across the country as noticeable as in other countries that are geographically smaller.

I am old enough to remember when Republicans and Democrats had logical debates based on the issues and TRUTH. As a Democrat, I'd like to think I can still engage in healthy debate with a conservative. I think we became really bad "fighters" when the discussions became cartoonishly ridiculous and devoid of logic- for me, I don't argue with people who are completely removed from reality. I actually don't know HOW to fight with someone who denies truth and facts. And so I think it is with the entire Democratic party. . .
At this point, I say throw spaghetti at the wall and see what sticks; fight with logic, fight with scare tactics, fight with whatever will work. The stakes are too high not to. And I think I speak for the vast majority of Democrats when I say we've always been (at least in my lifetime) a "big tent" party- we have always thrived and reveled in diversity of person and opinion. We are more than happy to add some Republicans/Former-Republicans/Never Trumpers (especially the Never Trumpers) to our tent.
I do hate to hear so many former Republicans say they have no party- you do, Trump just hijacked it because he HAS no party. You'd have to have a belief system to do that. I hope one day you can take it back

Second, realize that "The Blame Game" doesn't do anyone any good on the surface.
