Adam, you gave a great speech. Your conviction and passion for this country came through load and clear. I love how you debunked the maga myth that Democrats are monsters to be hated. Just the fact that you able to voice how you felt welcomed to the DNC because you care about democracy, put other non-maga republicans at more ease and gave them permission to consider where they do belong. Bravo for communicating a message of hope. (What a beautiful picture of Christian and you! When he’s old enough to understand he’ll thank you for your stance for freedom.)
I wish Liz Cheney, John Kelly, James Mattis, Rex Tillerson and others could have had the spine to speak their minds as to why Don-OLD should never, ever be allowed near the Presidency ever again. I know there is a risk to that act as some in MAGA view such acts as treason, but people need to hear the truth from the people that know the truth.
I often think this way and then realize maybe they cannot afford the extra security people sometimes have to hire. It seems that prominent Republicans who separate from the MAGAs find both themselves and families under threat. Unconscionable and unconstitutional!
