My only hope is that we will be on a new path forward beginning on Tuesday (despite the inevitable myriad of lawsuits claiming election fraud). I voted today, and was encouraged by the fact that 95% of people in line were visibly (and proudly, I believe) carrying "blue" sample ballots into the polling place with them. The other 5% weren't carrying anything. And although this locale is just a microcosm -- and not in a swing state -- it did offer me a glimmer of hope.
