They can’t be last time that happened, those folks were called Confederates. Many of my ancestors among them. It took defeat in the Civil War to put a lid on them. It is now clear it was only that, and the pot is boiling over again. It is so tragic and unutterably sad to me. My father, his brothers, my father in law, some of my best friends, all gone now, fought WWII for what? Not this. Never this. My major emotions this July 4 will be embarrassment, shame, and humiliation.

Kentucky stayed officially neutral, but men from that state fought for both sides during that war. July 4th never meant the same to me, compared to other Americans. Juneteenth Holiday? That holiday makes me happier than the 4th. Hope all realize, the true seriousness, of the danger, hate, D.T. & his followers, are visiting upon this nation.
