Who is shocked by anything that this U.S. Supreme Court does. I know I’m not. Just pathetic.

Roberta Truesdale's avatar

Love your input keep it going stay the course looking good. It’s nice to hear your perspective. There’s absolutely no doubt about that. I tune right in when you pop on way to go thank you for doing that.

Again and again , this US joke of a Supreme ?? Court shows their bias and treats American Citizens like a pile of shit . They make the ugliest of decisions based solely on their ability to aid DJT .. The Roberts Court is as much of a harmful ,biased ? political tool as are the MAGA liars bent over to kiss the orange man’s ass … Alito

Comes through again …screwing every American he can ! Not just women this time ….

Nanasjt6's avatar

God forbid any other SCJ decides to retire before Trump is out of office.😱😵‍💫🫪

Pam Birkenfeld's avatar

Rumor has it Alito will leave soon

In an earlier video posted by Adam, he said he wouldn't be too surprised if Ailene Canon would take the next retiree's place. As if the SC isn't corrupt enough...

Psychopaths in the Supreme Court

naejsllim's avatar

Well, I continue to be grossly shocked and appalled at SCOTUS. I just find it hard to admit or think that our “last line” of justice has sided with MANY, MANY of the views of dRumpstein. IMO, SCOTUS isn’t following the letter or spirit of our laws. For instance, thev’ve resorted to settling cases with emergency dockets in the middle of the night, AND more specifically in Trump v. USA …

“The [2024] ruling created a three-tier framework: absolute immunity for acts within a president’s core constitutional powers, presumptive immunity for other official acts, and no immunity for private conduct.”

https://legalclarity.org/presidential-immunity-in-donald-trump-v-the-united-states/

They have also agreed with more of his absurd stunts and ideas than not. https://www.scotusblog.com/2026/01/looking-back-at-2025-the-supreme-court-and-the-trump-administration/

Stephanie's avatar

I’m so God damn tired of the GOP and the Supreme Court’s bullshit. So fucking done.

Linda's avatar

Took the words right out of my mouth!

Jed Clampett's avatar

Are you tired of gerrymandering in Illinois which has been going on for decades.

HH's avatar

Yes, it has. But be honest here. Republicans disproportionately controlled the redistricting process this decade, drawing 44% of all congressional districts. The biggest GOP gerrymanders are anchored by Texas and Florida.

Jed Clampett's avatar

So Republicans are trying to even the playing field to counteract what Democrats have done for decades including this decade. So what you’re saying is Democrats gerrymandered 56 percent of all districts. Wonder what the percentage was before the GOP started to do it too? 65 percent? 70 percent? But that was ok with you for years. Now it’s an issue because the other side started doing it too. And why do you think Bidens puppetmasters opened the borders for four years? Duh to count illegals on the 2030 census. Americans have been murdered in order to help Democrats get more seats in the House. That’s treasonous

Christine's avatar

Just to clarify, Jed. Illegals don't vote.

In 2024, many legal voters didn't get off their collective butts and didn't vote.

Stop complaining about minorities.

Why don't you stop for one minute and put yourself in their shoes? What if somehow God had planted you in Venezula, Columbia, any country in Latin America?

What if cartels owned the police like Trump owns the entire government? Your family was shot and killed?

where would you head to ? Europe?

Minorities do the jobs that no WHITE man or woman would do for the same amount of money.

Wake up!

Jed Clampett's avatar

And why would the cartels stay in Venezuela when you and your party are allowing them to come here?

HH's avatar
May 2Edited

You are arguing that DT cares about preventing violence and drugs.

Except, he probably does not. We know this because Trump *pardons* violent criminals. Trump *pardons* drug kingpins. Trump *himself* is a convicted felon. Trump himself is a convicted rapist.

naejsllim's avatar

Cartels are where the drugs are.

Jed Clampett's avatar

Do you not understand that as long as illegals are counted on the census Democrats will be putting all of us in jeopardy by allowing as many in here as possible with no safety protocols. Allowing countries from around the world to empty their prisons and send them here is simply insanity. Yet here you are supporting that.

Marsha Hosfeld's avatar

I take your opinions as seriously as I took the Beverly Hillbillies TV show. Although that Jed Clampett was much wiser than you are.

Steve Kierkegaard's avatar

Despite propaganda-hyped right wing news stories about the rare violent immigrant, as a whole immigrants are MUCH less likely to commit violent crimes than US Citizens, even the undocumented immigrants. https://www.cato.org/policy-analysis/immigrants-cut-victimization-rates-boost-crime-reporting

Carrie's avatar

they can't vote. they don't vote. they are not coming from the prisons. find some proof before you go repeating all these lies.

HH's avatar

You are off-topic.

But since you raised “illegals voting,”: does it seem logical to you that someone would risk life and limb to come to this country illegally, then immediately draw law enforcement attention by attempting to vote? Second, please provide the data.

Jed Clampett's avatar

I posted counted on the census in 2030. The more illegals Biden Admin could put in NY IL CA etc the more

Carrie's avatar

what? those are not sentences.

naejsllim's avatar

Didn't Texas start the recent round of gerrymandering? They thought they'd be so smart and get a few more Rumplican seats before 2026 elections. Well, what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

As far as previous elections and previous gerrymandering, why didn't Rumplicans bring something up over the decades you're claiming there were shenanigans by Dems? I haven't heard one thing until this Texas BS hit the fan. Get a grip.l, Jed.

Jed Clampett's avatar

It’s ok Trumps Supreme Court just took care of the entire situation. No more race based districts. That means we will be seeing a whole lot of blue states being forced to redraw districts. Glorious.

Thea's avatar

Oh jed, that's a good one. !!! So funny

Steve Kierkegaard's avatar

We're tired of "MAGA" anilingus whataboutisms. Chicago metro is the economic engine of Illinois, where most of the population of the state lives. That productive majority should set the agenda.

Pam Birkenfeld's avatar

Kierkegaard, you are once again a philosopher of note!

Jed Clampett's avatar

That’s fine but to lie and say Trump started this gerrymandering tit for tat is wrong. It’s nothing new and Democrats have perfected it. That’s why there are very little to no Republicans in the House from New England states despite voting 40 percent for GOP. And to call MAGA a fraud on Kinzingers thread knowing the J6 Committee shredded all of their documents after Trump was elected. Don’t ya wonder why? No! Because you don’t want to know. You’d rather just blindly follow along with the party line. Stay on the Democrat plantation. Look at Fetterman now and the abuse he is getting for agreeing with just one or two things Trumps done. Even tho he votes with Democrats 99% of them time. Think for yourself one time and you turn into rabid attack dogs, psychotic!

Debbie E's avatar

What's the weather in Russia Jed?

Gloria Foster's avatar

Yea = its all the Dem's fault - they always cheat right? (believe that and I have a bridge to sell you)

Sick! Why can't we just all get a vote - equal! That's a concept that will never appear.

Jed Clampett's avatar

The problem is that liberal states allows massive invasions of illegals into their states to influence the census to gain more house seats. Bidens puppetmasters tried to massively increase those numbers before the 2030 census. So they have caused Americans to be murdered, children to be trafficked, fentanyl deaths all across this country to gain more seats in the house. How anyone can support that is insanity. But here you are.

naejsllim's avatar

If you can read, Jed, here's one for you. Read it thoroughly...you're wrong and here's why:

Steve Kierkegaard's avatar

Your sources are obviously the echt lugenpresse, not the "fake news" Trump likes to call the mainstream media, but the real propaganda outfits on the right like FOX which had to pay huge settlements to Dominion Voting Systems for lying about the 2020 election being stolen. Stop being so gullible. They defended Tucker Carlson's lies by saying nobody RATIONAL would believe the man's hyperbole and wild exaggerations for the truth. So what does that say about the people who believe Carlson?

naejsllim's avatar

Oh geeze, Jed, another MAGAT lie. Those docs weren't destroyed. There's a link in the article to the docs still available. 👍

https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2025/jan/24/donald-trump/donald-trump-goes-too-far-in-claim-that-jan-6-comm/

Jed Clampett's avatar

Duh it’s called common sense. Why would countries that hates us continue to pay to house criminals when Democrats are inviting them to come here with open borders. The proof is Laken Riley and many others murdered because YOU voted for the party that opened our borders. You should be on your knees every day begging ANGEL moms and their families for forgiveness for what you have done to their families. Shameful that you won’t!

HH's avatar

Random question: what’s the last thing that genuinely surprised you?

Jed Clampett's avatar

HH you failed to answer what happened after the ABC host George Stephenopoulis said Trump raped her? You cannot say it was a jury of his peers when everyone on the jury hated Trump and the judge refused to allow the defense to strike them from the jury. And anyone believing Trump did anything to E Jean Carroll is just as batshit crazy as she is. Billionaire walks in alone. No security detail. She claims the store was completely empty of anyone. No customers and no employees. Middle of the day. You’d have to really really hate Trump to lose sight of reality to believe that actually happened. Stunningly funny that you do.

Jed Clampett's avatar

Great idea. Go to the polls show your ID do a paper ballot and place it in a secured container. Then have the votes counted in front of monitors from both parties

Jed Clampett's avatar

That the entire Democratic Party went along with opening our borders to the world knowing terrorists all over the world have been killing Americans. Making all of us an easier target was the one thing I thought both parties could agree to condemn. I was wrong. They allowed it to happen. And now want to impeach Trump for trying to clean up the mess they created. It’s treasonous

Jed Clampett's avatar

This Supreme Court is likely a response to political gerrymander by Democrats all over the country. This not only affects red states. The GOP can now sue every blue state that gerrymandered using race to create more Democrat votes. After this ruling that was clearly unconstitutional. GOP is thinking to small to just redistricted red states. They need to redistricted blue states. This is a game changer that could same our country from progressive insurrectionists trying to destroy our duly elected govt.

Brendan Carr is one of the most terrifying transfers from Heritage Foundations, isn’t he? Establishing state media is extremely serious and often the death knell for democracy.

The conservative justices are UNAMERICAN and they are the enemy of the people

TLO's avatar

Comey didn't arrange the sea shells. It was already done, and he posed beside it.

Does anyone still think the SCOTUS isn't a politically motivated body? The move has probably depressed me more than any, even though we knew it was coming: it's the culmination of John Roberts purpose as a judge.

Michelle Jordan's avatar

Well, I've said it before, but it bears repeating: if these Justices have a lifetime appointment for the purpose of making them "above" politics, then clearly that idea is a failure and we need to find a way to institute term limits. And maybe they should have to run for office like other politicians instead of being appointed. If Congress cannot vet these Justices without bias, maybe the American people should do it.

CA Noslo's avatar

We also need to have the Justices appointed to specific slots, four republicans and four democrats with the Chief Justice independent by virtue of their decision record. No more partisan stacking!

Howard's avatar

The Constitution does NOT say they “have a lifetime appointment”! Rather it says they “shall hold their offices during good Behavior”. Thus bad behavior subjects them to removal. Here it is: “The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour, and shall, at stated Times, receive for their Services, a Compensation, which shall not be diminished during their Continuance in Office.”

Angela K's avatar

If this is true, which it is, then Clarence Thomas should have been removed due to the lavish gifts that he accepted from his billionaire friends for favors. Yet, here we are and he still sits with his black cloak on and smirky smile. And, how many Americans are even actually aware of this going on? People are too busy trying to put food on their tables to even be aware how the rules are being broken by these Supreme justices.

Joan's avatar

It’s such a shock that the six corrupt judges voted like this. I’m so surprised… NOT.

Nanasjt6's avatar

But….but….a SLEW of TRUMP GOP LACKYS were having a Grand Ol’ Time texting ‘86 46’ while Joe Biden was POTUS. Matt Goetz posted he was glad ‘We 86’d McCarthy (and others).’ Why weren’t THEY indicted? To ‘86’ something is to ‘throw out’. It started in the restaurant business —‘86 the left over salad’, etc. Or, ‘86 that drunken bum at the bar’. Trump, today, said ‘To 86 is to KILL someone’. 😵‍💫How does he get away with his dangerous rhetoric? 🤬

Meg Metcalf's avatar

I'm an old bartender and I agree the 86 47 has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with violence! Neither did the bumper stickers (I have one) that read "86 45" nor the "86 46" texts/tweets! Utterly ridiculous!!

Nothing will change in Supreme Court until there is more of a balance. I used to really trust and believe that the Supreme Court was apolitical, and that they truly would be acting in the best interest of all Americans. I do not believe that anymore.😢

Pam Birkenfeld's avatar

As a lawyer I used to believe at least they would follow precedent and the law. Now they’re making it up as they go along.

Mary Maser's avatar

I wondered why lawyers who already had the reputation of being sharks didn’t band together when the lawyers backing drump were being paid. If they all stood up to him to uphold the laws I think we wouldn’t be here now. I know law school wasn’t cheap but as refusal to take the money would nullify the reputation. What happened to being disbarred or is that also something else being ignored. So we are now a lawless country. I suppose if the Supreme Court isn’t about justice the lower courts just follow?!😡🤬

power play for gop for them to stay..nothing shocking here with the way republicans works. they are scared too, need to cheat and manipulate.

Jed Clampett's avatar

Texas has a right to fix what Democrats have done to have an advantage. Nearly every Democrat state has already done it. So in fairness Republican states should reciprocate. If it’s ok for Democrats to do it then it’s ok for the GOP to do it. If you didn’t complain over decades of them stop your crocodile tears now. You’re a bunch of hypocrites. So now EVERY GOP state should ensure Democrats lose as many seats as possible. FOLLOW DEMOCRATS EXAMPLE. That’s called fairness and common sense.

Jed Clampett's avatar

If Gerrymandering is cheating then Democrats have been cheating for decades all over the country. California Illinois New York and every New England state.

HH's avatar

California put their redistricting to a vote. They gave voters a choice. Did Texas? Did Florida? The only way they can win is by shoving things like this through.
